I thoroughly recommend this company if you're moving house. We had several quotes and this was by far the best one (almost half the price of some others, that laughed in my face when they mentioned price-match. One even wished me "good luck with that, they're far too cheap") On packing day they arrived on time and were so friendly and put me right at ease. They got on with the job and took great care of everything. Next day they again arrived punctually, finished loading and met me at the new house, where after a short tour they unloaded super fast, assembled the beds and were finished in record time. This company is so good and I have no hesitation in totally recommending them. I had a big move from Surrey to Bristol and had all sorts of problems with changes to completion dates. They were so helpful and reassuring with all my changes and anxieties, and their price was substantially less than all other companies (except one, which had such bad reviews). They arrived early to pack me and worked so hard and thoughtfully, accommodating my animals and other needs. They were waiting at my new house when I arrived. David was so helpful, taking time to find and read the water meter and battling with the lock on the garage door. They were all friendly and pleasant but never intrusive. June 2018 - This company provided a service for my family both to Hythe and to Surrey. They were punctual, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. I run my own business so have high expectations and they were all met by Moving On. There was no hint of resentment when I asked them to take an extra large item. Tony, Rob and the team have been fantastic - moving us from Maidstone to deepest, darkest North Yorkshire.First things first: these guys gave us the best price. And when you're moving hundreds of miles (and know you're likely to have to go into storage) that's important.The guys were a pleasure to have around and worked tirelessly on both our moving out days and five weeks later when we finally moved in. Even though they'd had a dreadful journey from Kent to Yorkshire, they happily negotiated our cattle grid, tight turning circle, trees and a very wet driveway and unpacked relentlessly into the evening. These guys are fantastic. Moving house is stressful and worrying and Moving On, Ashford took all the stress out of the move for a very reasonable price. Rob, Paul and the teams packed us, moved us, and went out of the way to make sure we were left in a good position, even doing little details like putting boxes and appliances exactly where we wanted them. Moving On Storage have exceeded our expectations on a recent move. We had a house move from Sandgate to Hythe - but had the added issue of having 5 days between leaving our old property and moving in to the first . We needed our contents taken into storage and then taken to the new property. From the quote stages, through to job completion, the staff sent were friendly, polite and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. The prices were fair (we had a number of quotes) - and the service was amazing. A really personable and professional team.
