It is an expensive thing running a Porsche. But, in my experience, I believe Parr's try to be reasonable on costs. Purchased a 2011 Cayman S 4 months ago and spent time looking for a good independent - am not disappointed with Parr.Customer service is attentive, responsive and no question is a dumb question. Top marks to Parr for the work they did on my ‘04 986 Boxster. It had a major service and suspension work completed. The car is now transformed. Indiya, who was my contact there, was very helpful, communicative and knowledgable throughout, including dropping me off at the station. I’d highly recommend Parr for routine work or for additional, more thorough investigation and rectification. Unfortunately I had to have my PDK gearbox replaced on my Porsche Boxster. My husband has been having his Porsche 993 serviced and maintained by Parr for many years and so we decided to ask Parr to carry out the work. Did some googling and enquired on Porsche club websites for specialists as I was looking at buying a Porsche remotely and I needed to get a Pre Purchase Inspection competed. I put a deposit on the car and was assured it was perfect and it appeared to be “to good to be true” and when you say that it’s normally correct.Seller assured me all was as stated so I asked them to drop to Glen at Parr Porsche for a full inspection.When I mentioned the inspection an airbag light was mentioned but the car was perfect apart from that.Well Glen and his team crawled all over the car and I have to say I’ve never got such a comprehensive and detailed report (Down to an I’ll fitting sun visor)Needless to ay the car was a complete lemon and a walk away was my only option,this saved me a huge amount of money and time and was money well spent.ill go out of my way again to use Glen and his team and would go so far as to say I’d considering traveling from Ireland to get my servicing done and include as a weekend away when o do find my new Porsche . Knowledgeable, friendly and always helpful. My 996 C4s has been maintained by Parr since 2006. Necessary and preventative maintenance always picked up and solutions as to how best to look after the car always offered. An email and telephone call with prices before anything unforeseen (eg split coils) is carried out is Parr’s way of involving and communicating with the customer. I have used a couple of independent Porsche dealers and a Porsche OPC and then Parr Porsche and would now never go anywhere else.

At Parr I found all the staff were extremely knowledgable and took the time to understand my needs. Indyia constantly kept me up to date with developments and provided written estimates for additional works very promptly. I was amazed at her knowledge of all things Porsche too! Lawrence is an absolute expert and would always have the answers to technical questions and took the time to explain

My 997.2 had been off the road for over a year and sadly had problems on the way to Crawley for its second visit. They helped with the recovery and quickly found the cause once in there workshops. The suspension upgrade and Geo set-up is spot on. The car was cleaned to a high standard on its return. I never felt anything but a valued customer.

I've used Parr for close to 20 years now. They look after my 996 GT3 and have done the vast majority of the work on it over the period. Paul and the rest of the guys have fantastic knowledge about the cars and have solved a few problems that have stumped other garages. Their attention to detail and standards are absolutely top tier, as you'd expect from a garage which is also a successful race team. There is a reason Porsche GmbH trusted these guys to run their cup cars!
