Was able to arrange a group booking so easily! Great communication and great food!! Ate here last night as a table of 13 & I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It’s a lovely cosy establishment, with such lovely staff and excellent food. We all had different dishes and each one was 5* - whilst waiting for our food we were treated with warm bites to snack on that were delicious too! Was so looking forward to trying the Dynamite Prawns! We ordered our food at 5pm on uber-eats - called an hour later to find out where our food was only to be told they hadn’t received our order - oh hang on, the printer is broken! Should be with us in an hour. We call again after an hour and it’s just leaving. Another half an hour later our food arrives luke warm at best. The manager did apologise and said if it wasn’t to our satisfaction he would provide the same meal at another time. Unfortunately we won’t be taking up that offer - there was no halloumi with the signature mixed grill and the dynamite prawns was not as advertised with a crunchy salad either. The reviews I read were glowing about this place but for us it was a misteak to order from moosteak! More...

Food was absolutely delicious and couldn’t be faulted but the service was really poor. Table was booked for 7 and was changed to slightly earlier (6:30) to “ensure we get the best service possible” ready for us to be finished by 8:30. Main dishes were served after 2 hours of being there and there was a good 15 minutes difference between the first and last plate coming out and there were 6 of us. The people who arrived at 8:30 (for presumably our table, when we’d only just started our mains) were asked to come back 30 minutes later. As soon as we’d finished eating and paid the bill we were asked to leave as the group had come back for their table. Totally understand pressures on both kitchen and front of house staff but almost 3 hours in a restaurant for 2 courses wasn’t great. More...

What a gem of a place! I visited Moosteak for dinner last night and what a wonderful meal we had! The owners are ever so friendly and welcoming, and they are really passionate about their food and providing an exciting gourmet experience. We had ‘instagram mocktails’ which were beautifully created and our main courses were absolutely stunning - full of flavour and beautifully presented with edible flowers. WOW!! What a gem we have discovered ☺️ Visited this evening to celebrate a big Birthday. Moosteak went out of their way to make the evening special; from putting up decorations to creating & presenting us with a drink that was created just for us to serving dessert with a candle to the birthday boy. As for the food- dynamite prawns were so tasty, as were mixed meats. Steaks were cooked to perfection & the Brazilian coconut curry was amazing 😋😋 Service was personal & professional-this place surpassed all expectations & we will definitely be going back to taste the burgers :-) Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone - best place in Northampton More...

The food is always fantastic, the presentation is amazing and no matter what we order we are always delighted with the dishes! Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in. The restaurant itself looks beautiful and always clean and well set up, the atmosphere is great. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Northampton. The service is unmatched. The staff truly care about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while. It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming.
