Thank you for helping give us a truly beautiful day, and for recording so many precious moments that we'll treasure forever.
Meeting you before the wedding for a complimentary engagement shoot was amazing. You really got to know us, our personalities and our relationship from the time you spent with us that evening, up on a sunny summer Holcombe Hill. Similarly, we learnt your photographic style and manor - very relaxed, calm, gentle and easy-going, which set our mind at rest before the big day arrived.
At the wedding itself, you couldn't have been more attentive and yet seamlessly slotted into the crowd. You never made a fuss, made great spontaneous suggestions, were also readily open to any of ours and our guests suggestions and showed great patience throughout the day.
You even remained calm when your husband was hours late in picking you up, and kindly used the extra time to take some further, fun photographs. Thank you.

I couldn't recommend Monika highly enough. We were really pleased with our finished photographs. The outdoor shots in-particular are stunning. She knows just how to capture the light, and we were so pleased to discover so many natural, impulsive and surprising moments from both the engagement shoot, and the wedding itself.

Monika captured our wedding at Manchester Town Hall perfectly. Every moment, even when we weren't paying attention, making sure she got every aspect of day. On the day a lot of our guests commented on how she never stopped, and knows where to go to get the best shots. We are really pleased with how they have turned out, the icing on the cake, allowing us to really remember that day and all the fun we had. Monika did a great job on our special day. From the engagement trial right through the big day she acted professionally and with obvious talent. She captured some amazing shots that were natural and unplanned and displayed her creativity in thinking up unique shots and locations.

Monica was our wedding photographer and she did an outstanding job, we contacted Monica about three weeks before we were due to get married, Monica didn't bat an eyelid and took on the challenge, I can honestly say I was not disappointed her photographs are beautiful and capture our story and document our day beautifully, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Monica she's passionate about what she does which shows in her pictures. In the build up to our wedding Nightmare, We had a late cancellation by the photographer we had originally booked. We looked online again to find Monika and loved the photos she had already done and impressed by her images on her website. We called her up with only a few days notice (hopping) and fortunately it being March, she was available and agreed to be our Photographer. <br />She<span id="moreReview438065" class="hide">In the build up to our wedding... Nightmare, We had a late cancellation by the photographer we had originally booked.... We looked online again to find Monika and loved the photos she had already done and impressed by her images on her website. We called her up with only a few days notice (hopping) and fortunately it being March, she was available and agreed to be our Photographer. <br />She travelled through the heavy snow from Manchester to Harrogate and still managed to reach us on time. She gave us no reason to worry. <br />Monika Szmidt was so flexible and gave us the option of having very formal shots, or a more artistic approach. <br />We asked her to just give us what she thought best, that ended up being a great decision. To say we are happy with the results is an understatement. <br />Monika has a real eye for catching those special moments of people's expressions, she was kind enough to capture many of these for us in our collection. I was a bit sceptical at first as the price was so cheap but after seeing the results I was flabbergasted. She was with the whole day, very frindly but also professional. I've since been very cheeky and told friends and family that we paid thousands and all say they were worth every penny! Would I use Monika again Without a second thought!
