I took my very nervous dog Buddy today for his first groom here. He is so nervous that another local grooming place couldn’t groom him and called me to collect him after 5 minutes. I then had to have him sedated and shaved at my vets, so I wasn’t hopeful he would have a successful groom here. I was so wrong. We had a wonderful experience with mon Joli Chien; communication is great - they pick up the phone, staff are polite, friendly and really helpful. Booking online is super clear and easy and I really like that you register you card so payment can be taken at your appointment. What an amazing service. Archie is not the easiet dog to groom as being a pug he naturally doesn't like his nails being cut. They managed to cut his nails and brush his teeth. I took my 11 month old kings charles cavalier spaniel Rory to Mon Joli Chien on Saturday for his 3rd and best groom he has had so far! The staff at Mon Joli Chien really paid attention to the smallest of details and helped calm him down as he suffers with separation anxiety. Just when I thought he couldn't get any cuter, the staff at Mon Joli Chien proved me wrong and he looked and smelt amazing. We took our dog for her haircut yesterday - it was an excellent job by the team. We’ve had our fair share of bad experiences in London with some dog groomers, but this was really a top quality haircut and most importantly, our dog did not come out looking traumatised at all (which is not always the case with other groomers!

Took my 2.5yo corgi Specter to do professional grooming for the first time and couldn’t be happier with the result. Specter has always been quite anxious about anyone touching his paws and so one of my biggest concerns was nail clipping. Despite my worries, the wonderful staff didn’t only give him a beautiful haircut and trimmed the nails, but also managed to make him happy and comfortable in the shop! After LOTS of recommendations from the local dog community, I brought my very anxious Romanian rescue dog in for a full groom. The shop was clean, friendly and open-so much so you can see the dogs behind the counter being groomed on the table! They only do one-on-one grooming which is a really lovely touch as you know your dog isn’t tucked away in a cage during/after the groom. Megan was INCREDIBLE!! she made my dog feel so comfortable and safe, she was even able to cut his nails! (An impossible feat for him!) he seemed calm and happy when I collected him.
