I would say my passion for the subjects I teach, I have been fortunate enough in my academic life to have teachers who have pushed and motivated me to succeed. I hope I can follow in their footsteps in making learning fun and engaging o the next generation of students and do my best to help them grow and achieve their goals and aspirations.

I am a friendly and approachable tutor specialising in History, Government, and Politics at KS3, GCSE, and A levels. I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who seeks to engage students at all levels and can offer extensive support.

I am currently studying for a PGCE in Secondary History, having graduated from University College London with a master's degree in Political Science, specialising in International Relations and Security Studies.

Subject specialisms in History include Germany 1890-1945: Democracy and dictatorship, Germany 1871–1990: united, divided and reunited. I also have extensive knowledge of American History and Politics with specific relevance to America 1920-1973: Opportunity and inequality and Civil rights and race relations in the USA 1850–2009 at A levels. I also know on and tutored the First and Second World Wars as well as the Cold War period.

In addition to subject specialism in History, I also have extensive knowledge and experience with Politics at A levels covering topics including UK Government and Politics as well as Nationalism, Government and Politics of the USA and Global Politics.

I am familiar with Edexcel, OCR, and AQA exam boards and am experienced with each of their requirements as well as teaching the skills of documentary analysis using sources at both GCSE and A levels.

I have moved to online-based tutoring, away from the traditional home-based visits for the time being. This may change in the future but for the time being, I will be online based.
