The second hand IPhone I purchased from mobile solutions lasted me years! Eventually when the battery went they replaced it quickly, cheaply and it was good as new again! Most recently one of the staff there (Alex? Richard?) was amazing and assisted me off his own back when he could see I was having difficulties with a SIM reader with bent pins inside another second handset I'd been given. Broke my Samsung s7 edge screen and I was recommended to go to mobile solutions from a friend. They had the screen in stock and replaced it for a cheaper price than Samsung would have and they repaired it within the hour. They also repaired my charger slot free of charge. Brilliant service. Took my iPhone for a new charging port which should have cost me 40 quid and take an hour which is the standard price but super quick. Handed over my phone in the shop, they tested it, cleaned the charging port and it was working perfectly straight away. I didn’t even need to leave the shop and they didn’t charge me a penny. I would have been over the moon to pay 40 quid to get my phone fixed in an hour and they could easily have done this anyway and I’d have been none the wiser and still a happy customer! I hope that good old fashioned values like honesty and decency continue to serve this business well and they continue to prosper for years to come. You’d be foolish to take your phone anywhere else. I have had my phone repaired here before and was very happy with the customer service and result of their work. However, unfortunately I have broken my screen again. I called them on Monday to ask how much to order a new screen, and when I called them today to pay a deposit so they would order the new screen for me, they have told me they won't take my payment over the phone, I have to make 2 visits to them, one to hand in my phone and one to collect and pay. What on earth is the point of discussing a deposit with me if you wont take it? I had been quoted and everything, then when it comes to paying you wont accept it? What is the reason you wont accept my payment over the phone so I can bring my phone in for repair once the screen has arrived? The gentleman I spoke to stated that I have to hand in my phone to them and then pay the deposit upon collection of the phone.....sorry guys but that isn't a deposit! That's an invoice! I will try to call again this afternoon to see if I get a different answer as it seems ludicrous to me, but if I get the same response I will go elsewhere, just because I'm frustrated with you. This is disappointing because I was very satisfied with your customer service last time I visited.I'd like to add that I told the gentleman that I spoke to that I wasn't exactly local either, which is why I'd only like to make one visit. This didn't seem to incentivise him to help me out. This is also annoying, though I accept that if this is the rule he has been taught to follow, it is a fault with company policy, not the individual in question. I hope for a response before I go elsewhere. Although frustrated, I can completely accept their reasoning as to why they wouldn't take a payment over the phone. Unfortunately, it is often the actions of a few that cause problems for the many. Neither the store, nor the staff can be held accountable for this. I have reviewed my feedback rating and would like to reassure potential customers that this is actually a sensible and recommended place to have Phone repairs carried out, and their customer service was on top form as it was last time. I needed an urgent screen repair for my mobile and after looking around Norwich this place was the only one to have exactly the screen I needed and were able to do the repair within a couple of hours. Unfortunately, the screen issue did return very quickly, however the store were apologetic and the owner quickly got in touch to offer a full refund. I went here to get my phone screen fixed/ replaced as it was really badly cracked and I was served by Marcel who was really friendly and so helpful! The service was really quick and such good value, especially considering the damage. My phone looks brand new and I even got advice choosing a good phone case which was helpful. I had to replace my mobile but did not want to change either my telephone number, or my existing contract. I wanted a good second hand mobile and needed advice and support regarding this. I was served by Marcel who was outstanding. He helped me choose the right phone-not too complex but one that fully meets my needs. It is a big step up market for me: technology has developed apace! I left with my new phone working with my old phone's SIM card installed. I was able to send and receive calls texts and emails. Marcel was extremely patient and helpful- I am no ICT wizard! This store does a really amazing and fast turn around. I came in to get get something replaced on my phone, and it was done in less than an hour. I had contacted other companies for quotes and availability and they all gave me over inflated prices or were out of stock on parts. This store gave me a great deal and when I came into the shop with the quote given in emails, they even lowered it.
