We have had 2 meals from The Mitre Lounge, both fish & chips and pizza. I must say they both tasted amazing and I highly recommended it! Crispy chips, great fresh toppings on the pizza and overall well priced! When things are back to normal I will definitely get myself and my family to come and have a drink. just had a lovely evening at the Mitre, in very difficult circumstances they made us feel very welcome. we heard of people complaining about slow service, which quite frankly is a joke, people need to consider this is a new business opening in very tricky times with restrictions changing all the time. Everyone having to have food is going to cause a delay. to complain or make a scene is embarrassing, cut these businesses some slack, if you want them to be there when all this is over support them. I thought it was brilliant, they've made the best of a bad situation outside, it was a lovely atmosphere, the staff were brilliant and the food was good. Well done all involved, we will be back, I'll be there every weekend if I can get away with it at home!! More...
