Lovely little tea room, selling proper afternoon tea with gorgeous home made cakes & scones. Friendly & helpful staff. No good for the disabled though, unfortunately..

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for our afternoon tea yesterday. 2 of our party if 7 were gluten intolerant & ceoliac, they couldn’t believe the huge selection of savouries & cakes there was for them, and even more how tasty it all was… the coeliac stated he had never had a scone before!
!! And was very inpressed.
The rest of the parties foods were top notch too, the quality of everything was fab.
Best afternoon tea we have had.
A shame one of the children took ill yesterday (too ill to go to the tea room, very impressed that with only 1 hours notice you were able to box it all up for us to enjoy at home.
We would definately reccommend to gf/coeliacs and muggles alike 😜. X

This traditional little tea shop hidden away just off the high street is a lovely little place to pop in for fresh sandwiches, soups and other localy sourced produce including ham and of course Melton Mowbray Pork Pies. I strongly suggest their traditional afternoon tea as it's a cracking spread. There selection of homemade cakes are great if you have a sweet tooth and their coffees are rather good also. If you are celebrating and don't fancy a brew, they also do wine and locally brewed beer. The staff are all eger to please and very attentive. More...
