Contacted Mionlach yesterday during Storm Eunice as a tile had blown off the gable end. Damien and crew turned up the next day(today 19/2/21), while the weather was still awful; with a replacement tile, trimmed to size and fitted. Damien was great to work with, I had really struggled to find someone to do our leaded flat roof and from the start he was very communicative and prompt with his quote. Communication extended all the way through the work. The work was done to a very high quality and we are extremely happy with our leakproof roof. Hopefully for many decades to come! After I made local enquiries about a wet patch under our bay window, Damien was the only respondent to ask if our bay was rendered or tiled, and to promptly offer to take a look. He gave a reasonable quote stating the need for some lead work repair, and within a few days fixed the problem, which turned out to be ineffective old lead work which he replaced, and rotten battens holding the tiles up, which he also replaced, and he resealed the window. We had an issue on our roof when we had running water coming through a ceiling light, the team came out and looked at where the problem was inside, in the roof space and also on the roof itself. Damien advised us of a hole in our leadwork and that the leadwork hadn’t been done correctly when the roof was done. They fixed the hole and gave us a quote to fix the leadwork.
