Nutritionists & Dietitians

I spent some time researching for a nutritionist as this was my first foray into the area having recently had a knee replacement and requiring work on an anti inflammatory diet.
I was mildly cautious at first but as it turned out extremally satisfied with initial results and with the ongoing process.
Sarah is an incredibly detailed, thorough and dedicated advisor. She is very knowledgeable and is able to tie in the diet side with the medical considerations very effectively. She is very supportive and delves into areas I would never have suspected. I was also relived that her advice was not turning my eating habits upside down but instead adding to it so it fitted into my busy lifestyle. I cant recommend her more highly.

I approached Sarah due to ongoing stomach problems which had gotten worse and I wanted to try to find out what I could do to make things better. Sarah really listened in such a warm and calming way. She made me feel very comfortable talking about quite personal things. She had so many ideas and suggestions and her knowledge really was amazing. She also asked me about anything else I wanted to improve and included that in my plan, so I felt like I got a lot more than I had signed up for. The plan she sent me was incredible and I felt it had gone above and beyond what I had hoped for. It's definitely not just a 'diet' or just a food plan which I have looked into before. She included types of vitamins and ideas for lifestyle changes, really caring about everything that could affect not just my stomach but my whole wellbeing. I felt like I wasn't on my own with the changes, as she checked in with me making sure it was all ok and was on call for any questions I had. We then had a follow up session where you go over everything and I couldn't have felt better in myself. I had discovered foods which really don't agree with me and I found a new way of eating my favourite meals without the dreaded bloat. I'm beyond thrilled with the results! I would absolutely recommend Sarah for anyone wanting a change of ways with food, to understand it better or with any issue which you think could be improved by a different way of eating. Sarah was instrumental in my recovery, I was suffering from stomach cramps and bloating. Sarah identified what foods were causing the pain, recommended vitamins and nutrients to sooth and reset my stomach plus a plan on how I can reintroduce the foods which initially caused problems. It was such a pleasure working with Sarah, she is a very calming person and cares about her patients. I always had an email follow up from our calls with a detailed plan of the nutrients and substitutes for problem foods. Sarah made the whole process easy and clear to follow. Q&As

A healthy diet is very important for optimal health and wellbeing. Gut health is intrinsically linked to all the other systems in the body. The food we eat is information for our body and the cells inside us. We need to provide those cells with nutrients so they can work optimally - this then creates vitality, making you feel more energised and strong.

I really love seeing clients in their follow up consultations and how happy they are following the changes they've made to their food and lifestyle. I also love passing on the knowledge I have gained about the body's processes and what the body needs to thrive, because I know it really helps people make those positive changes.

I am passionate about food and the human body and fascinated at how food can be so powerful when it comes to health and ill-health. I also love helping people, especially when the support I provide makes people feel better in themselves and more in control.

I have not only reached my own health goals, but I have helped others in all different health areas such as improved digestion, increasing energy, finding a healthy weight, hormone balancing, fertility (pre, during and post natal care), osteoarthritis, inflammation and more. I believe I can help support many health areas and concerns following the knowledge I have gained in studying nutrition at CNM and nutrigenomics/genetics with Nordic Labs. It is worth noting that the recommendations I provide will never replace medical advice, I am here to support only, and can support alongside many medical conditions.

Yes, I can provide one-to-one consultations both online or in person. I use Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or Google hangouts for online.

I provide online consultations, and when in person I make sure I'm sat at a comfortable distance for my client and will wear a mask if preferred.

Services

I offer a free no obligation 15 minute phone call to find out a little bit more about you and your needs and introduce myself and my process. We decide if we can work together and then from here, organise our initial 1 to 1 consultation.

Initial consultations can be completed online over video call, or in-person. They last approximately 1.5 hours, where I complete a full assessment (case history) of your health journey, your symptoms, your medical and family health history, all your body systems, along with your current food and lifestyle to help me formulate a personalised plan for you.

Based on the information I have gathered in the consultation, and the latest evidence based research available, I will create a personalised plan of food and lifestyle recommendations. I will always talk these through with you and collaborate with you to ensure they are realistic and achievable.

After 4-8 weeks of being on the first plan, I will ask to see you again for a follow up consultation. Here I will find out what has worked well, what worked not so well and then provide a revised plan based on this information. More specific recommendations will also be included, based on the scientific research I will have completed following our initial chat.

During the time that we work together I am available to you via messages or email, if you have any questions or need a motivational boost.

Our relationship does not have to end after the first follow up. If we both think it will be beneficial to continue the relationship and have regular check ins, then these can also be arranged.
