We would thoroughly recommend Milestones for your removal.They are professional, friendly and prompt. We used them to relocate from Bolton to Cleveleys. Nothing was too much trouble for George who used his considerable experience to carry out some difficult manoeuvres such as getting a large settee and armchair through a small opening. He and his team managed to pop open a window (without causing any damage) to secure the items. In other respects he was also very helpful in giving advice. More...

I recently used this company to help move some furniture to a new home. I had quite a few items in various places however George was happy for me to leave him to it with all the info and he did a number of trips. When I found myself in a tough, stressful situation that I needed to remove myself from, I called George to ask if he had a spare day asap. He very kindly offered to move my stuff the same day, on his day off, to help when I was clearly distressed. George handled my possessions with great care, swiftly moving vintage items and co-ordinating for heavier pieces of furniture. Furniture was strapped into the van securely and boxes placed sensibly. He does his job incredibly well and quickly. Everything was packed, driven 20 minutes and unpacked, in less than a couple of hours. This immense generosity and professionalism means that I will be contacting George again about moving further in-land! I would not consider anyone else around St Annes to handle the vintage pieces so respectfully in particular. He made the absolute ache of moving out much less stressful, and I didn't have to worry about anything getting damaged - not a single item. No-fuss, fairly priced and a great service. More...

After what turned into a stressful day for us, waiting to be handed the keys to our new home, and although it got to 4:30 on a Friday afternoon before we got the keys, George and team were so understanding and didn't put us under any additional pressure to get finished. I wanted to ship 6 dining chairs from the the Fylde to the Netherlands. After sending off a mail to George and getting a reply, it was clear I was dealing with someone who knew what he was talking about. Then I decided to add a table, and then a few boxes of odds-and-ends located in N Wales. George took everything in his stride and laid out the options and the costs. Eventually a shipping crate was opted for, which was duly made and shipped. Everything arrived in perfect condition.Throughout the whole process I never spoke to George, except by mail, but those who did meet him commented on his pleasantness and professionalism. Never write reviews, but this one is worth a mention -Booked Milestones Removal at the last minute to move a full kitchen from Lytham to Liverpool. George was consistently polite on the phone and met all our needs.
