I'm a professional photographer from East Yorkshire who deals mostly in weddings, events and commercial photography.

Mikey did a fab autumn photo shoot with our 11 month old little boy, it was in a lovely location and we just love the photos we have received, our little boy was a bit of an awkward customer but Mikey managed to capture some amazing shots anyway!
It was a fantastic experience and the pictures are exactly what I had in mind and we will definitely be using him for future photo shoots!

When Emily and I first started planning our wedding I had a very limited number of requests 1) the album hybrid theory by Linkin Park be played in full and B) Mikey P would be our photographer.
I do not lightly make the statement that both these requests where deal breakers.
The finished results are amazing and the attention to every detail, not just photography but throughout the build up, day and post wedding period is what sets this photographer apart I my mind.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being in the right place, at the right time, understanding your equipments limitations and making people feel comfortable around you.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For weddings, I actually give out a questionnaire to fill out, which can be found at mikeypphotography.co.uk/questionnaire
But in general it will be questions about what they need or expect, and if there are going to be any things I need to know, that may impact me doing my job.
What do you love most about your job?
The end result, every time. It's the best feeling when I have finished a big job and I get to flick back through the pictures, knowing that there aren't many people who could have done it to that standard!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Travel inspired me to start my own business. I lived in Canada for a year and documenting my travels is what made me pick up a camera. The question of "why don't my pictures look good?" is what made me start studying photography.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a very laid back, calm person on the outside, but on the inside I'm an ex military perfectionist. I can deliver great photos and a premium service, without causing any hassle.

Yes! I can provide product photography services remotely as long as you are happy to ship your products to me. I am happy to post them back as long as you pay for the shipping.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have been shooting at longer focal lengths to keep a distance and will wear a mask upon request.
