We met Michael at a wedding fair at Colwick Hall- he immediately made us feel at ease and wasn’t pushy about getting a booking like some other photographers we had met were. We then had a second meeting with Michael to discuss requirements for the day and to see some of his finished albums and we knew he was the right photographer for our big day, especially after seeing the evening shots he has done previously because our wedding was in winter we knew light was going to be an issue! We had our pre wedding shoot with Michael and he did a great job if making us feel comfortable and having us laugh throughout. On the big day Michael turned up with plenty of time to take all of the setting up shots and the bridesmaids getting ready and some groom and groomsmen shots before the ceremony- everything went so smoothly and we got all of the photos we wanted including some amazing night time shots with flash just in the right place. Our photos are amazing! There were quite a few photos in there I didn’t even realise had been taken! Having just received our album (within 8 weeks) we love it and it!! Michael made us feel comfortable from first meeting him. During our pre- shoot we were both a little nervous but her really encouraged us and gave us little hints to get some great pictures. Our wedding day, Michael fitted in to the wedding like one of our guests, whilst still ensuring that we got all the photos we wanted and nothing was out of the question. He kept everyone organised and captured both natural and group shots. We also had the link to view the photos in days so we could view them whilst still on honeymoon.
