Woweee where do i start? Michael is a talented and exceptionally hardworking florist, he really understood our vision, worked sooo hard to produce the amazing work on our wedding! Michael did an amazing job on the flowers for our wedding last October! He managed to take my very limited directions and came up with stunning ideas that fitted in perfectly with our venue and theme! We had so many lovely comments from our guests and venue staff and I could not recommend Michael more highly. He clearly loves what he does and that comes across in his gorgeous arrangements! I also gave him the challenge of making a flower tier for my wedding cake which I made myself and he delivered exactly what I imagined! What do you love most about your job?
We have been lucky enough to make wedding, event and corporate luxury flower arrangements at some of the UK's most finest and iconic venues. We know how flowers can totally transform a space and the wonderful feelings they can create.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was while working as Head Receptionist at Brocket Hall and seeing the absolutely stunning wedding and event flowers that sparked my interest in floristry and it's fair to say I have been hooked on flowers ever since. If I watch a T.V programme I will always notice the flowers in the back of a scene or if walking down the street I will spot the tiniest of flower in a crack of the pavement.
Whatever I do I throw myself into it and I always want to be the best I can. The next natural step for me was to enrol at College to undertake a City & Guilds Level 2 Wedding and Event Floristry Diploma course. Two years of studying and a lot of assignments later I was thrilled to pass with a distinction.
While I was at college I freelanced as a florist making floral arrangements for many large weddings and events, often working at some of the UK’s most iconic venues. During the same period I also freelanced as a corporate florist assisting with flower contracts for many 4 & 5 star luxury Central London Hotels.
I now work from our studio in Essex creating beautiful memories with flowers. I love all types of floristry from natural and wild arrangements to large opulent designs. I absolutely love floristry and I am extremely passionate about what I do.
