Meridian Music's lessons are fun, educational and above all extremely helpful for your progress. In a relatively short period of time he was able to develop my skills set from a fairly standard level, into a intermediate/advanced guitarist that can work comfortably with other musicians on a songwriters level. Russ can pin point an issue within your playing, give you the correct instructions and incorporate it into homework at your level, which I found very helpful. But of course it's not just hard graft all the time, as his light enthusiastic personality brings joy to the lessons, making the whole experience more enjoyable and therefore more encouraging to becoming a better guitarist. I found the lessons with Meridian Music stimulating, interesting, and dynamic. Russell is passionate about music, articulate, thoughtful and kind. He has an abundance of experience and knowledge from the music industry which he shares in class; (online and in person), often many things you would not find some YouTube videos. I feel each lesson is tailored to my progress, so no stone is left unturned. Russell is funny and extremely astute, super-bright, and firm. I am given homework to practice most weeks, which is monitored in the following class. What do you love most about your job?
Engaging with my students and seeing them reach their long term goals on the instrument. As well as, of course, playing the guitar myself!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was tired of working for companies like Sky and other management agencies and little to no credit for my creative services.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over ten years of top level industry experience and over fifteen years of playing experience. I am also a multi instrumentalist and music producer which allow me to prepare my students for most professional working environments in the music/entertainment industry.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have a supply of face masks and sanitisers in my studio as well as insisting any students take a test if they plan on attending a lessons with cold or flu like symptoms. I will also offer remote lessons instead.
Guitar Lessons
Bespoke lessons for all ages and ability levels. Lessons are catered around you experience level, style and goals for the instrument. I am to create tailored lesson plans that help my students achieve their goals at a pace that suits them.
