Q&As

Perspective and timing is key to a photograph that captures the attention of others. Before taking a trip, I research work by other photographers and create unique ways to capture landmarks and cities so that it puts my individual style into a photograph.

Before carrying out a project I would need as much information from the client as possible in terms of whether they have set instructions or if they want total creativity and suggestions surrounding the work. I work closely with clients to ensure their targets are met and their vision comes to life through my work. Questions stretch from whether they can show me any and all inspiration to what style are they looking for through the photos, e.g. dark and moody or light and bright.

Everything is different from the shooting process to the editing stage. Two photos can be taken in the same location from different angles and look entirely different but also two raw images may look almost identical yet editing styles can end in them appearing as though they were taken at different times of the day, at different times of the year, etc.! Nothing is uniform or follows a set routine and that is what makes photography so exciting. Plus, there is always new knowledge and skills to learn.

I am self-taught which makes me somebody who has studied trends, others' work, and who has learnt from a trial and error perspective. Most clients publish their work online and those are the very platforms where I have gained my skills in this industry so I understand what is appealing to audiences. This may be viewed by some as a setback as I have no classroom knowledge, but it has allowed me to be entirely free in my photography form and live in the moment of a shoot to work exactly as that specific time and place allows.

Services

I offer photography and editing using Adobe software to clients and businesses who require projects of various types, such as architectural, portrait, fashion, food, street, documentary, etc. However, if you like my work and would like to hire me for an area in which I am new to then I am happy to research this and work closely with yourself to ensure that you are entirely happy with the photographs and work.
