Mel was very professional and came to meet me and my cat Jolene prior to coming to look after her.
I felt very comfortable that Mel was experienced and competent and took Jolene’s foibles in her stride.
Although Jolene is not usually a very affectionate cat she actually gave Mel cuddles on their first meeting so that made me feel that Jolene felt comfortable too.
All went smoothly and I would use Mel again and recommend her.

What do you love most about your job?
The best thing about dog walking is I get to combine three things I love - walking, being outdoors and working with one of my favourite animals, dogs. When it comes to home visits, I get to work with a variety of animals and I love getting to know them, giving them loads of attention and taking care of them like they are my own.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When my youngest started secondary school, I had extra time on my hands. I wanted to do something I enjoyed rather than sitting in an office all day. So I started providing dog walking and home visit services to help people when they are away or at work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a love of all animals. I grew up on a farm in Australia and had the most wonderul childhood looking after dogs, cats, horses, chickens, sheep and cattle. I have always had animals in my life and have a lot of experience looking after pets for family and friends. Administering medication, taking them for walks, helping out with training, playing with them, cleaning up after them etc. I understand how daunting it can be having a stranger look after your animals so I will do whatever I can to make you and your fur babies feel at ease.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am happy to wear a mask if my customer prefers. I do regular testing, hand washing and use hand sanitiser.
Dog Walking
I love using the beautiful green spaces we are lucky enough to have close by to walk your dog. I can walk your dog on an individual basis or can take him/her with my own dog if your dog loves to socialise. The walks can be tailored to your dogs needs.
Home Visits for small animals
Cats and small animals - Each house visit will last at least half an hour, and I will send daily updates including pictures and/or videos and take care of your pets as if they were my own.
Dog Sitting
Your doggie will always be supervised and get lots of playtime and attention by me. I will take your dog on one or two walks a day, depening on their needs. I live in a house in Richmond with a garden that has a secure fence. I am happy to have puppies and dogs of all ages.
