I've been working with Toni as part of a documentary project on Mermaids, and just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been watching her work.
Her ability to entertain children, make them suspend disbelief is extremely skilful. This applies to adults as well :) She manages to get even the most shy or reluctant people to open up, talk, smile and have fun.
While my time with Toni was for a very different reason from the usual, it allowed me to appreciate that anyone wishing to book Toni for a party or event should have no hesitation whatsoever: A consummate professional.

"Toni Mishell and Captain Redbeard were the dream team! The look on my little girl's face when she saw Toni waiting for her in the pool was just priceless. Toni and Redbeard included ALL of the children- even the quieter members of the group- and kept them busy and entertained the entire time ( a mum's dream!) with games and singing songs. The kids all loved their party bags and photos too. I can't recommend Meet A Mermaid enough- from the initial contact through to getting our photos through it has been seamless, friendly, and professional. I have already recommended you to my family and friends. Thank you!!!"

My daughter had her 7th birthday today with meet a mermaid! Absolutely fantastic! We arrived slightly early and she gave me the nod, so I could take my little girl to the toilet to not ruin the magic!
All the kids and adults had lots of fun and could not believe how involved she got with the children some were a little upset about having to wear armbands, but this was no problem for the mermaid she popped a pair on herself and had them swimming with her in no time! As armbands are cool!!!
Honestly I could hear the laughter and excitement from the children outside the pool they enjoyed it that much, and so many compliments. I could not thank them enough. Loved it!!!! ���

I don't even know where to start with this review, there is so much to praise.
I am absolutely thrilled with my daughter's party, hosted by Toni the mermaid and Captain Redbeard the pirate!
Since I contacted Toni she has been 100% helpful and professional (taking the time to answer all of my questions and providing certification which covers just about everything there is) and today at the party I was overwhelmed by how the kids responded to her and how good she was with them.
I didn't expect the level of interaction and the games she did with the kids in the pool and Captain Redbeard taking photos which will help us remember the day was a fantastic addition.
She took the time to talk to and play with every child at the party. I've honestly never seen such a full on children's entertainer.
The gift and poster for my daughter were just a fabulous final touch. I'm so happy with how it went and I honestly could not recommend Meet a Mermaid enough! Thank you so much guys!

Fantastic, fun and educational experience for kids with professional, well-trained staff. As well as being fun for all kids, Meet a Mermaid are trained in British Sign Language which makes for a very unique and inclusive party.
What do you love most about your job?
Inspiring young minds. I love seeing the magic light up in peoples eyes when they see a real life mermaid. I am like a summertime father christmas! except I work throughout the year.
There is nothing better than making someones day.
I also love that we are inclusive for people who speak sign language as I am BSL trained.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to start Meet a Mermaid was a childhood dream to become a real life mermaid, an incomplete bucket list, a glass of wine, my best friend and husband.
I strongly remember being told that I wouldn't be able to become a mermaid as they are not real by my nursery teacher, this was heartbreaking as a child. I want to inspire Children to use their imaginations and keep the innocence of childhood alive. I think it is everyone responsibility to encourage children follow their dreams regardless of how impossible they seem.
