After having numerous and expensive repairs to our roof from another company and still having leaks we were quoted a ridiculous amount for a full new roof. We messaged a few other companies to quote for a new roof including McLean Roofing who we had never used previously however Danny was the only one to get straight back to us and turn up on time. As soon as we met him we felt a degree of trust, he was honest in what was needed, knowledgeable and followed this up with a very competitive quote giving a full breakdown, so we decided to go ahead with the work. I was dreading getting the work done. Working from home plus having 2 dogs I anticipated total chaos. Yes there was noise and mess however the whole experience was nowhere near as bad as I expected which was purely down to Danny and the lads. We were kept updated at every stage of the process, all the lads were spot on and approachable and they literally grafted from getting here until finishing and in all weathers. Danny was totally upfront about materials/costs throughout, so much so we were able to get a small extension roof replaced too for no extra cost. We are now the proud owners of a new shiny roof and have already had lots of positive comments from envious neighbours. Pretty sure we will be using McLean Roofing again in the new year but only to replace our shoddy guttering done by another company. We have found a company we trust and would certainly recommend to anyone. If in doubt do it, you won’t be disappointed. More...

Having had at least 3 other roofers out and spending a fortune to NOT fix my roof, I messaged McClean roofing when a flyer came through the door. He turned up when he said he would, used his drone to have a proper look at the roof and identified loads of broken/slipped slates, and something wrong with a valley ( no idea what he was talking about, but he sounded plausible!). And less than a week later, there was Danny and his colleague up on my roof, which is REALLY HIGH, being a three storey Edwardian house, fixing all the stuff he said in his quote that he’d shown us with his drone footage. The test was yesterday, when the rain was absolutely torrential….and my house was, for the first time since we moved in BONE DRY!!!!! He actually saved us a fortune because he didn’t insist on scaffolding. Lovely lads, great job, efficient service. I doubt I will have to use Danny for a while, but should we have another storm ARWEN, I’ve popped his number in my phone! Thank you very much McClean roofing! X More...
