It has been a truly enlightening and amazing experience working on our home improvement project with Shené from McKenna Gray.
We found her recommendations on house lighting improvements (colors, fixtures, and more) and overall home decor, on point and working like a charm. She has been very prompt and patient while executing this project, giving us alternative suggestions on demand. Never have we found her without an answer to our broad range of questions, and each time there is proper method, and logic to any recommendation. It's a simple straight forward process.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I pretty much cater for all interior styles. Modern Contemporary, Minimalist, English Charm, Scandi, Boho, etc.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to work with people to create beautiful homes and spaces that they can enjoy. I love being creative and I get great pleasure out of finding the right furniture and accessory items for a project and seeing it all come together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been passionate about interiors. When I was 17 years old I decided to do a complete room make-over, painting, new furniture, bedding, the works and it was a huge success. It was then that I knew that I wanted to become an interior designer.
I've always had an eye for interior detail and grabbed the opportunity of having my own business when it was there.
Why should our clients choose you?
Many interior designers have their own styles and their product stays similar. What makes me different is that I help individuals find their style and then develop it into what they've envisaged. It provides great excitement to me and my clients working on projects together and creating results that last!
Mini Design & Style
The McKennaGray Mini Design & Style package is perfect for those looking to get inspiration, a quick fix or advice on one element of their home such as wallpaper or a sofa replacement.
The virtual design experience takes the form of a consultation and is conducted via Zoom, a phone call or via email.
You will receive:
A personal moodboard showing style direction with up to 1 key item, including suggested accessories.
Costs, supplier information and purchasing details.
Clients further benefit from trade discounts via long established supplier relationships and will have communication with the designer throughout the process.
Classic Design & Style
This package is developed for clients looking to have a room makeover, where existing furniture is retained but new items and elements are added to give a fresh, revamped feel.
The package includes an introductory virtual consultation followed by a visit to the client’s property.*
Following the above you will be presented with:
A bespoke mood board that includes style direction on two to five key items and suggestions on accessories that could complement them.
A 2D Room Layout Design that brings the space to life and highlights the design recommendations.
A decoration schedule with paint recommendations and/or wallpaper specifications plus window dressing design ideas.
Costs, supplier information and purchasing detail.
* all home visits and meetings are conducted in line with current Government Guidelines.
Elite Design & Style
This package has specifically been designed for a client requiring space planning and guidance for larger areas and is also popular amongst those looking for dual function rooms.
The initial consultation forms part of virtual design experience which can take place via Zoom, a phone call or over email.
Shené will then meet a client at the property to further discuss requirements and share any initial ideas.*
The package also includes:
A bespoke mood board giving style direction with key furniture items and suggested accessories.
A 2D Room Layout Design that brings the space to life and highlights the design and furniture placement recommendations.
A decoration schedule with paint recommendations and/or wallpaper specifications plus window dressing design ideas.
Costs, supplier information and purchasing detail.
Shené will be in contact throughout the consultation process and provide a follow up consultation to ensure all clients are entirely happy with their McKennaGray package.
