What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We provide accountancy services for self employed, partnership, small and medium sized companies. We can assist with the decisions on accounting products and oversee or install any new accounting systems depending of the type.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
A great accountant listens to what you need and advises you of any problems. They are pro active. an accountants should be someone you can talk to.
What do you love most about your job?
The interaction with clients and helping them from a new start up to companies that have been around for decades. There is always something new to learn and it is great to see advice we have provided help the company grow or stay competitive.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for top 20 accountancy firms, I believed that there was a market for firms who offer a more personalised service, clients should not be seen as a money maker but as an asset. We try to help whatever the question, in some cases it is just someone to listen.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a small friendly firm who believe that our clients are very important and we try to go the extra mile to assist. We keep up to date on legislation which is very important and advise clients of upcoming changes that may affect them.

We can provide all of our services either online or remotely. A scanner or phone pdf is often all you need. We believe that the future is online accounting and therefore there is no need to have a local accountant. We are also happy to visit clients.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Most of our clients deal with us via email, zoom, teams etc at present. Where a client needs to meet we ensure face masks are worn and have hand sanitiser at the door. The table used for meetings is 2 metres long therefore distancing is ensured
Online accounting
Assistance with set up, running or outsourcing your bookkeeping via Quickbooks, Xero or Freeagent. Problems with information already on the system, we can help tidy up entries and give you a new starting point to work from.
Accounts - Limited Company
Preparing accounts for filing at Companies House and with HMRC, from basic records upto the provision of a trial balance to us.
We can go through what the figures mean and make suggestions for future years.
Accounts - sole trader and partnership
We prepare accounts either from source data or from information entered onto a spreadsheet or accounting program. We can the prepare self assessment returns for approval.
Personal tax returns
We have many years experience dealing with personal tax and the changes that take place.
VAT
VAT rules are changing for the construction industry, we are up to date with the changes and can help advise on what you will need to do after 1 March 2021.
We assist with the preparation of VAT returns and can help with VAT visits or investigations.
CIS
We can prepare CIS returns and verify subcontractors or prepare an overview each year. For medium sized companies in the construction industry the rules are changing on 1 March. We can assist with identifying which suppliers or customers may be affected and draft letters.
