I can highly recommend Max and his program. I’ve been with him for 12 weeks now and the weight loss is steady and results obvious. His plan is straightforward and doesn’t feel restrictive. The workouts are tough but enjoyable and I’ve been able to do it all from home and continue throughout lockdown. Max is really approachable and always gets back to you really quickly with any questions you might have. Plus he checks in with you regularly to check everything is going ok. I’m at the lightest weight and fittest I’ve been since before my children 10 years ago and for once I feel like I will achieve my goal and sustain it. The biggest misconception is that you "need to go and see" a personal trainer at the gym and "see" someone about nutrition. I can say for a fact this is not true. With the amazing plan which is set out remotely I have achieved so much from the comfort of my home. Max offers a plan that is so flexible and personalized it became fool proof. The recipes are delicious and based around meals I already love and the exercises are explained well and helps me tone and strengthen areas I want to focus on. Max is easy to contact and offers as much support as you need. All responses are prompt and he even gave me the flexibility to fit in a cheat meal I was cravings whilst still being able to stay on target. I am 12 weeks in and already I’m at my lowest weight I have ever been. To be able to hit my goals on a weekly basis with a coach I have never seen or met is incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to transform themselves and reach their goals. More...

Since working with Max I have lost nearly a stone in weight (with two holidays and a big birthday in between) over the last 10 weeks which I am really pleased about. With previous PTs I felt the food plans were very restrictive and not easy to follow, along with long and hard workouts which were just unenjoyable. These plans were not realistic and I found myself back at square one, if not worse. With Max I’m still surprised at how easy the process has been. I am eating more food than I usually would, I don’t get cravings to eat rubbish and I can make my own meals which work around my personal life. I will be able to stick to this method in the long term and my partner actually enjoys the meals I make for once! The workouts are also great as I’m not in the gym 7 days a week, and I find myself looking forward to them. Finally - Max has also given me an end goal to work to which for me means the long process of weight loss has an end in sight and I can then work to other goals such as muscle gain and shape! Before signing up with Max I really had little idea of the benefits of online coaching, and admit I was skeptical.

I had decided to get into shape for the summer and online coaching was ideal for me, as I definitely need to be held accountable (my excuses for missing a gym session know no bounds! ) and also allowed me the freedom I needed to fit training in around a very busy job and social life in my own time.

The tracking of my weight, steps and calories really helped me to stick to the plans set by Max and the training videos are easy to follow.

Max certainly knows his stuff and I trusted his suggestions and tweaks to my plan which have paid off without a doubt. I could see results in no time at all.

Max allowed me to be really flexible with my nutrition plan and I never felt restricted, hungry or guilty!

Online coaching is much more involved than I thought it would be and Max is a great support and always available no matter what the query or silly question.

I can’t wait for the summer now and I also have a great excuse to buy a whole new wardrobe.

Max’s plan has benefitted me in more ways than I imagined. Not only has my body changed but it has really helped with changing my mindset. Losing 34lbs this past 12 weeks has given me all the confidence I have never had. I feel so positive now. I have completed plans before but have never had the results like this or the support to help you get those results. The support Max gives is amazing, the plan is straight forward and if you put in the effort you are guaranteed to get results. Any queries you have Max will answer and always find a solution. The knowledge is there for everyday use and it’s a plan that I will be using for the future. Highly recommended to anyone, great plan and the results speak volumes. More...

I completed a six week course with Max. I was recovering from spinal surgery and had put on a little weight and didn’t know quite how to jump start my exercise regime again. Max designed an exercise and diet regime for me to fit around my own capabilities, exercises that wouldn’t aggravate my condition. Over the six weeks, I lost over half a stone, dropped a dress size and also learnt how to carry my diet and exercise forward on my own. Highly recommended! More...

I trained with Max for about 4 months in 2018 prior to my sisters wedding in August that year. Max took note of my goals and created me a personalised plan that was perfectly tailored to me and what I wanted to achieve whilst being mindful that I’m definitely a person that prefers flexible eating to strict structure and love cheese too much to cut it out completely! He took the time to get to know what training I like and dislike and kept in exercises that I enjoy doing making me more likely to stick to the plan. I was in great shape thanks to his knowledge and training plan and felt amazing for the wedding! I definitely would not have looked or felt so good if it wasn’t for Max’s help! It was always so easy to contact him and get help/ advice when needed and there when I needed the extra motivation. The app was also an absolute god send, so easy and simple to track everything needed all in one place - progress pictures, weight, measurements and workouts. After suffering a serious bike accident I needed to get fit once more, but at a slow and steady pace. Max’s expertise and experience was invaluable in helping me achieve my goal of reaching peak fitness once more. Not only did he encourage and push me to my limit, Max targeted the muscles i needed to develop after the accident which proved to be beneficial in my progress. I have been training with Max for over a year in both personal training and group sessions. I really enjoy the sessions because each one is very different. Max listens to my goals and what I enjoy doing and designed a plan for me, keeping that in mind.

In terms of the PT sessions, the structure was brilliant because it focused on what I was good at and what I enjoyed which motivated me to keep going and get better and better at what I enjoyed and build strength, which in turned helped me improve on my weak areas.

The group sessions are also brilliant as each one is a mix up of core exercises to suit my goal and the group environment motivates you as it brings out your competitive nature which again helps you reach your goals.

Max is very encouraging and helps with nutrition in order to maximise results and is always on the other end of the phone if you need a bit of motivation.

I honestly can't recommend Max Kristen Fitness enough, I am now stronger and fitter than this time last year and I make much better meal choices. I'm enjoying every second.
