Due to our wedding venue only allowing their own standard play list or ourselves arranging our own music, I decided to not only surprise my now wife, but all guests attending on our special day. I first contacted “Arjays Violinist” through this website 5 days before our wedding, but literally only gave him the green light to attend the day before. To my delight I asked Robin if he would play our favourite love song “Say You Love Me” by Jessie Ware, just 2 days before the wedding. At the time he hadn’t played it before, but pulling out all the stops he was able to quickly learn the song, & play it to a very high standard on the day to my wife walking in. He also played a selection of other songs, & my wife and some guests thought it was a track being played until they saw him tucked away in the corner of the room. We had the pleasure of booking Phillipa as a singer at our Christmas social event. She is an excellent singer and adapted well to our very unusual event for disabled people, including deaf who had signers for some of the songs. She was warned that our event would have a low turnout as it was during the day after the General Election and many regulars were still asleep or in shock to attend but adapted to the wishes of those who were present very well. We booked Surrey Strings via LMM for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception in July this year. The booking process was seamless and Sarah-Jane of LMM maintained regular contact throughout the process. Surrey Strings have a varied and extensive repertoire which enabled us to have our favourite pieces (both classical and popular music). The quality of musicianship was excellent. I had the pleasure of having Danny Bradley play at a garden party celebrating my graduation! He was fabulous and had the perfect acoustic set-list. A very down-to-earth lovely guy with an even lovelier voice! Lots of my guests were asking who he was and how I found him, and some guests even took his number for future events! This website is wonderful, there are so many options and although I started looking months in advance, I found the perfect music for my wedding: Scotswood Acoustic Duo. They had a relaxed and beautiful sound that I was looking for with a diverse and perfectly executed set. They even adapted some songs I requested (like Africa by Toto) to their style and sounded amazing! All of my guests were extremely impressed and the price was worth it and more. I've had 2 very good acts, but one I booked in January, took my deposit and never showed up. No contact or anything. I'm only a small country pub and £100 is a barrel of beer! ! After no contact, I contacted last minute musicians as he's advertised on your site, to be told you cannot do anything as he takes his own bookings! Something Sweet were absolutely fantastic at my 30th birthday and really made my party. Alice Elizabeth sung at our church wedding ceremony and we cannot recommend her highly enough, she was professional to work with and has the most beautiful voice! Alice went above and beyond by filling in an extra 15 minutes of singing that she wasn’t expecting, due to the bride being late and for this we are very grateful! Worth every penny We booked Lindsay Smith after watching her on a few sample videos on last minute musicians. We loved her song List and even requested her to sing our first dance song.
