MATHS ACADEMY

I was really struggling to understand topics properly in school and had a real lack of confidence in the subject. After getting in touch with Sam I was able to understand things we went over in class much better.

Sam explains everything that I do not understand in school by providing alternative explanations and sets me questions that would push me to a higher grade and stretch my ability.
I'm also able to message her throughout the week with any questions I don’t understand, and we cover that in the lessons.
Being a schoolteacher means she's completely up to date with the specifications and everything I need to know, helping me fill in the gaps in my knowledge, to help me do the best I possibly can.
Sam also sets me extra questions for homework, upon request, to increase my exposure to the different types of questions I could be asked in an exam.

Maths for me is a subject which I have never enjoyed nor did I believe I was any good at.

I require a level 2 functional skills qualification in maths in order to fulfil a life long dream of joining the police.

After completing every stage to join the police, maths is the one thing standing in the way of my dream job!

I decided to enquire about tutoring after I had failed my level 2 math exam on a previous occasion.

I was very dubious about tutoring at first and even thought about giving up my dream job!

I found Sam on Bark and she really helped me, I am certainly not the best at math and every session Sam tailored the learning to my needs and learning style, sam was very Patient with me and ensured I understood each subject.

The session lasted an hour but what I really appreciated was the email after each session outlining what we went through and suppling me with examples and tests to complete in my own time.

I have my exam soon and I feel much more confident now with the help of Sam and I really feel that my dream job is achievable!

Samantha is an amazing tutor and brings so much positivity to the sessions. I really struggled with mathematics in high school and she really has shown me that I can achieve the best grade possible if I put the time and effort in.
