Such a great concept, lovely relaxing atmosphere, our teacher was Alex and she was delightful. Discovered a skill I never knew I had, and came away feeling both relaxed and energised. A lovely setting just a short walk from Victoria - Masterpeace is a restful studio set in the beautifully appointed Eccleston Yards and is a great place to settle down for a while and switch over to a little creativity and calm. I strongly recommend checking out this awesome initiative! I had a really enjoyable session with the talented Sophia who was welcoming and provided delicious snacks :) What a blessing to be able to chill out with paints for a while (no prior art skills required) and know you are supporting a women-lead social enterprise start-up. For those who are low on income there is also a once a week Karma class that is donation based. A great alternative thing to do around London - I'll definitely be coming back :) More...

I just attended the launch event for MasterPeace, and had a brief go using their projector technology to help me draw my niece. It was super simple to use and as someone who has barely drawn anything in years, I was really happy with the picture it helped me to create. It’s great to take a moment to be creative among the busyness of london, and the studio is beautifully fitted out, with loads of natural light, in a great location. The staff at MasterPeace were truly passionate about art and incredibly welcoming. I can’t wait to go back for some tutorials. More...

I loved every second I spent here! I booked a beginners painting class with Marianne. Marianne, Zena, Georgie and the rest of the crew were so welcoming and warm. They thought of every little detail to make the experience so peaceful and heart warming. The space was stunning and really added to the experience. We started off with a calming mindful practise and then moved on to some warm up sketching exercises. After which we dived in to painting. Marianne was so helpful and patient. I'm a complete beginner and not once did I feel insecure in any way. I had such an enjoyable and mindful morning and I'm feeling restored and energized after just an hour and a half painting. They've really encouraged me to be more creative. Looking forward to hanging my painting in my living room. I can't wait to go back for the calligraphy classes! :) More...
