Martin responded quickly to a very last-minute request for transportation to the Wadhurst station--his service was perfect. Clean car, affordable fare--a pleasure to converse with along the way, he knows the area from top to bottom. We were international visitors so it was very reassuring to be with an experienced (14+ years in the business) driver. I got married at Wadhurst Castle in June 2018 and had the most amazing day! On the build up to the big day Clare was quick to respond to any queries I had (and there were a LOT! ) and she was so helpful on the day I didn't worry about anything! I feel like I didn't take much of it in on the big day but when I looked at the professional photos and see what an amazing job she did at setting everything up I'm so grateful that she was there to help! Not to mention the most beautiful background setting for a wedding, all of our friends and family complimented us on what a lovely venue and day it was, it sells itself! The only thing I would have changed would have been to start the wedding earlier, so my advice to anyone booking - as soon as you have booked wadhurst castle, get straight on the phone to the registrar and get that booked! Lovely castle with beautiful surroundings

We had our wedding at Wadhurst Castle in June and it truly was a perfect day! We were lucky to be blessed with gorgeous sunshine which meant we had the ceremony outside in the beautiful walled garden. We then moved onto the lawn at the front of the house where the views were simply breathtaking! All our guests said what a relaxed feel both the venue and the day in general had which was so important to us. I think Claire, the wedding organiser at the venue was the key ingredient in helping us achieve this. She was always on hand to answer our many questions (!) and to give useful advice but at the same time she made it clear that the structure of the day and how we decorated the venue was in our control. This meant we were able to put our own stamp on it rather than have the day dictated by what the venue wanted to do. I would not hesitate to recommend Wadhurst to any couple looking for a beautiful venue and especially to any couple who want to be creative with their day. You are definitely in safe hands with Claire at the organising helm and you will go into your day knowing it will run smoothly. Beautiful venue, the perfect wedding day for myself and my husband. On the day it chucked it down with rain but it didn't matter, our ceremony was intimate, and our guests fell in love with the castle. We had our wedding reception at Wadhurst Castle in May and I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are just stunning and the views are absolutely beautiful. Claire was such a massive help throughout the whole process and nothing was too much trouble- it really did make everything much less stressful. What can I say... Wadhurst Castle is the most beautiful wedding venue. And if we're honest we chose it because of Claire. Her commitment, enthusiasm, outstanding recommendations and 'can do' attitude made our wedding day the best it could be . It exceeded all our expectations. Claire was there every step of the way to answer many a silly question (often late at night!) and nothing was too much trouble. The Castle itself is an absolute stunner and that view!! They say every girl’s wedding day is her chance to be a princess and Wadhurst Castle provided the perfect back drop for such a day. Both the gardens and the garden room offered the perfect setting come rain or shine. The events organiser, Claire, made us feel so comfortable on what could have been a highly stressful event. Everything was incredibly well organised and having complete contact 24/7 towards the big day made everything so much easier. We were lucky enough to get married at Wadhurst Castle and couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. It's gorgeous and all of our guests loved it too (evidenced by their own impromptu photo shoots in the beautiful grounds! !). What sets this venue apart from the rest is the wedding coordinator Claire. She is made us feel at ease, she was calming, never stressed and extremely organised. Most importantly for us, she made everything run smoothly and it wasn't stressful at all so we could just enjoy ourselves. The grounds, the house are perfect for a wedding and everyone who works there just makes it even more special. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for our wedding at Wadhurst Castle. From start to finish Claire was fantastic and was always on hand to swiftly answer our questions over email and waiting in the wings to keep us both calm on the day. Nothing was too much trouble for her (even the odd make-up smudge on suit clean up!) and her whole approach made the planning process fun and easy. The castle is such an idyllic place to get married and all of our guests commented on what a stunning venue it was. With all the spring flowers in bloom it really does look incredibly beautiful and is unbelievably well kept. used Martin's Private Hire today and his service was excellent I called him at 20.05 asking for a lift from Ticehurst to Pembury about 10pm ish. Where do I start? September17th 2016 Our dream wedding, at the spectacularly stunning Wadhurst Castle. We could not have asked for a better day, everything went so smoothly thanks to the wonderful Claire, she made sure everything was as we needed and better. She looked after us and made sure we were happy whilst keeping our nerves at bay ❤️ Claire even helped with our 4 year old daughter who is now Claire's number 1 fan. Nothing could spoil our day, not even the small shower of rain, if anything the rain was an added bonus bringing out more of Wadhurst castles beauty and bringing everyone even a little more closer. We had the most perfect day at Wadhurst Castle! Claire was absolutely amazing and was a huge part of making our day so special! The venue is incredible and even though we wanted sunny weather the rain made it the amazing day that it was and wether we had of got married inside or outside the atmosphere and charm of the place is what makes it so special! We got married inside the beautiful castle and it was incredible.
