Hi, thank you for reading my bio. https://martinstrivensphotography.co.uk Bark is very expensive for photographers and costs us £17 to contact you, so please only ask for me to contact you if you are serious about hiring me, I charge£175 for a professional headshot in the studio where you can see the results there and then and you end up with 10 edited images on different backgrounds.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Hiring a great photographer that knows what he/she is doing. there are a lot of "Photographers" out there and it can be a minefield picking the right one for you. You must feel relaxed and have confidence in your photographer and not go by just price, look at their work, how long have they been a professional, the equipment they use, do they seem competent in what you are asking them to do, are they part of a professional body and if so what kind of qualifications do they have, look at examples of their work, all these things will help you choose the right person for the job.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to talk to the client to find out what their needs are and plan and discuss their project with them. It is very important to listen to your client and make sure you are able to carry out their wishes in a way that they are happy with the finished results and give them confidence in my abilities to fulfil their brief.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating beautiful images that people will use and treasure all their lives and even hand down to their children, its great thinking that a lot of my images will still be making people happy long after I've gone.

Its simple, I know how to take an amazing picture, I know how to work with light, photography for me isn't just about doing a job, photography for me is a calling, pleasing my clients is my no.1 priority, that's why Ive climbed to the top of my profession. I have a top end high street studio where all kinds of magic can happen, I've spent thousands on equipment and training and now I train and mentor other photographers, which is why its so upsetting when you hear "How much do you charge?" as the first question. There's always someone willing to do it cheaper, but if quality, emotion and lighting is important to you, give me a call.

Shooting a professional headshot is an art form in itself, we have a changing room for you to bring different outfits and we shoot tethered so you can see the finished images before you leave the studio to make sure you are happy. Lighting and expression make a great professional image in todays digital world and I will help you stand out from the crowd. We have a number of different backgrounds in the studio and for an extra charge we can come to your work place if you have a lot of different employees needing a new profile picture.
