How long have you been interested in magic?
Since I can remember, I have always been fascinated by magic and the feelings of awe + wonder it inspires within us. I got my first magic set at the age of 4 and started performing from the age of 12. I feel bless to live my childhood dream job on a daily basis and have experienced some truly astonishing magic moments with people across the globe over the years.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Magic is more than just performing tricks - it's about creating a true connection with an audience, taking them on a emotive journey with some truly profound magical experiences along the way! Using a seamless blend of emotive story telling and slight-of-hand, the show is delivered with high energy + passion that leaves everyone feeling inspired, energised and spellbound.
What do you love most about your job?
Even if I've performed a magic routine thousands of times, I never get tired of seeing the reactions people give when they experience the moment of magic. Their eyes light up, they will shout, scream, swear, fall about laughing or even burst into tears of happiness/joy. I love that magic has the ability to transport us to that child-like sense of awe + wonder, in a world where briefly anything is possible. As Pablo Picasso once said - “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”
What inspired you to start your own business?
It took me a few years to find who I was as a magician, but this all changed in 2015 when I started working with Spread a Smile - a charity who provide entertainment as therapy for children in hospital. Meeting these remarkable children was truly humbling and gave me the motivation to get out of my comfort zone and become a full time magician. Since then I've achieved 6 Guinness World Record titles, performed over 2,500 show virtually to teams at Google, Facebook, Apple & Netflix and my currently project is attempting to perform Magic in Space. My shows, workshops and talks are designed to challenge people to think outside the box and consider fun ways to get out of your own comfort zone.

There are 2 virtual packages available for remote events with up to 1000 guest spaces. Hosted on Zoom, both experiences are fully immersive and specially tailored to make it feel like everyone is part of the show. For more information, check out the experience service pages.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All my shows have been adapted to require no physical contact if needed due to COVID requirements. If COVID has impacted your event for any reason, the option for a virtual/online event is always available as a backup.
Secrets of Magic - Virtual Magic Show/Workshop
Prepare to be inspired, energised and spellbound as we go on an epic journey through my magical world!
Join me in the Secrets of Magic classroom where you will take part in this fully immersive, mind-blowing magic show with everyday objects such as cards, coins & the gold-dust of 2020 - a roll of toilet paper!
I will then break the magician's code, using a blend of emotive storytelling and sleight of hand to uncover the real secrets behind the magic and how you can use tricks to help others.
Then it's your turn to give it a go...
I'll teach you some of the tricks you've just witnessed me perform, not only going through the technical moves, but also the psychology that turns a trick into a piece of magic.
This motivational experience is great for team-building and private bookings receive a surprise, bespoke piece of magic during the show.

The show/workshop is 1 hour, however this can be increased to 90 minutes or reduced 30 minutes if required for your group (alternative fees apply).
Record Breaking Mindset - Motivational Talk/Magic Show
What does it take to break a Guinness World Record? Learn that plus more in this unique experience, using the fundamentals of magic! The experience will be broken down into 3 sections -
1. Aim Higher: With an introduction to the psychology of magic and how Martin has used it in his record projects, you will learn a card trick based on psychology, which can help to instantly connect and build rapport with people! -
2. Think Smarter: Explore some of the major challenges/failures/lessons from the record projects, and what helped Martin overcome them. Learn the simple memory technique called the ‘Loki System’, with a fun/interactive demonstration, and how to practically use it in your daily lives. -
3. Make It Happen : Conclude with key lessons from the record making journey, and how Martin will use these on his latest project-Magic in Space! Explore a genre of magic that relies heavily on enhanced communication and perception – mindreading.
Evening of Wonders - Magic experience for large/small groups
Be it in an intimate space with a small group watching, or a theatre performing to over 3000 - Evening of Wonders is more than just a magic show, it is a fully immersive experience. Martin knows how to truly connect with an audience and make them part of the magic. During the show, you will be captivated by some highly visual and mind-blowing magic, with an occasional special guest appearance from some of the top magicians from across the UK & around the world.
