Marta is a very thorough and patient teacher ( you need patience to teach me!!). She is friendly and approachable and her lessons are fun.

Marta is a warm, friendly and very patient teacher. As a native speaker she is able to not only teach the technicalities of the language but also the local ways of saying things. She explains why phrases are the way they are and how to speak naturally. This really helps with getting to grips with pronunciation. She includes interesting ways to remember words and phrases interspersed with knowledge about Spanish culture. You get so much more than just the linguistics which creates a passion for learning and connecting with the Spanish way of speaking and seeing the world. Her knowledge of the Spanish language and dialects is extensive and she's able to make learning accessible at every level. Marta is a fantastic teacher. I wanted to develop mainly my speaking for business (and holiday) purposes. She is patient, super friendly and thoughtful in correcting my errors and helping me develop my fluency. At first I was very nervous speaking and expressing myself; but she gave me so much opportunity to speak about different topics and gave me practical expressions, as well as explaining the grammar, that I have improved hugely.
