How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Best way is pop your head through the loft hatch measure a rough height from highest point to top of the ceiling spars ...or easier still see if any neighbours have had theirs done
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
First job will be remove existing loft insulation.then start to prepare the floor joists,and services .is electrics ,and plumbing.
Once you have a solid base we can construct the dorma.if no dorma is involved insulate the existing roof.fit velux windows.then construct any dividing walls . plasterboard and skim.then break into the house landing and for new loft staircase.
What do you love most about your job?
Lofts are quick.bit of mess now and again .but within 8 weeks you have a brand new livable space
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'm fussy.! We treat people's houses as our own..I've worked with some builders and they are just bish bash bosh ! No respect.
