Marina's coaching sessions gave me a solid framework for the daunting soul-searching process of career change which I found totally unmanageable to face on my own. From not knowing what to expect from the first session, I quickly found that I could be open and honest with her thanks to her supportive, kind, and attentive qualities.

In this atmosphere we could zero in on what the real issues were behind my job dissatisfaction, explore what my actual skill set is (vs the things I told myself I was good at) and understand what really motivates me, all key in helping me to build a vision for my future.

The sessions and intersessional work provided an opportunity for self-exploration which I thoroughly enjoyed, and through it I rediscovered who I really am and what my real values, passions, interests, and skills are. The setting of SMART goals between sessions helped me to address the immediate issues that were coming up for me in my job whilst the blue-sky tasks helped me to stay true to the bigger picture and create an array of possibilities. Guided exploration and constructive questioning in the sessions helped me to be aware and start to let go of unhelpful ways of thinking about my job and toward improving myself and changing the things I can.

This work has kindled hope in an area of my life where I have felt stuck for a long time. Through it I have found the confidence to take a bold step to meaningfully explore a career change opportunity, something I don’t think I would have had the courage to do before, and also to take action in my current job to make the most of it.

I am actually only half-way(?) through my course with Marina, however so far I am finding it quite fascinating just how much you can learn about yourself by talking to someone else. Especially with a professional that has such a way to draw those thoughts and feelings out of you when you're finding it difficult to articulate. Really enjoying the course so far and every session has felt valuable. Marina has a very warm and welcoming way about her which comforts you to explore every idea you have, no matter how obscure, or however long ago you had it.

I am just starting phase 2 of the course and looking forward to it!
