First time using Manticore Catering for a surprise lunch for my mam today and if I could give more than 5 stars then I would. She was absolutely thrilled with the service and the large tasty roast chicken dinner and yummy apple pie pudding. Such a shame I live over 300 miles away or I would be ordering lunch for myself!! Oh my gosh where have you been all my life Definitely the best ‘takeaway’ I’ve had you’d have thought it was served straight out the kitchen in a pub. Decent prices, good portion size and the food was piping hot when it arrived, with not to long of a wait! The lamb fell of the bone, the mash was lovely and creamy. The kids meal had proper home made chips and my daughter loved it! The buttermilk chicken burger was everyone’s favourite! (Obviously mammy has to share ) homemade chips and the burger was full of flavour. It was supposed to come with coleslaw but I’m not a fan so I asked for side salad which was a generous portion and also nice and fresh. We will definitely be returning here. Pre-ordered 2 x fish and chips and a child’s fish fingers for today. Food arrived bang on time, hot and absolutely delicious! Three completely clear plates which wasn’t an easy job as they were good portions. Husband would love you to do a pub style parmo we’ll definitely be ordering again. The customer service was unbeatable hands down The lamb shank just fell off the bone was cooked perfect, the chicken pie was deep filled with good chicken and no crap! Kids meal was a decent size portion & the chips was homemade along with the mash potatoes. They even give you time slots, they was a little behind on the time due to overwhelmed with orders, but they phoned and let us know straight away.
