After graduating from the prestigious BA (Hons) Fashion Design course at the University of Westminster, London, UK in 2018, Mekala is now a freelance fashion and accessories designer, while also developing her namesake luxury brand, “Manimekala”.

What do you love most about your job?
I love designing and creating something new, unique and individual. I enjoy the whole process from research, design and development, to the actual making. I can translate your ideas into designs, or provide purely technical advice and assistance, whatever you need.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a young, independent designer, who studied at one of the top fashion schools in the world, I am creative and enjoy pushing boundaries but also know how to translate experimental ideas into commercially viable products. I have recently started my own successful fashion brand "Manimekala", so I know the challenges of building a new brand and can advise you on how to overcome this. I have strong technical skills eg. drawing/illustration, pattern cutting, Photoshop, Illustrator, and can create CAD drawings and factory-ready spec sheets.
I am also (unusually for a creative!) extremely organised and self-motivated. Please get in touch!
