Contracted Derek from Mainstay Cambridge to refurbish an art room, lounge, kitchen and touch up of wood work in early January.

Art room was a mess as it was covered with acrylic paint and pooled over skirting as previous owner was a painter. Also had a raw patch in wall as we tried to clean the paint, but the acetone eroded into the underlying plasterboard. Derek has kindly filled up the patch and repaint the room to such professionalism that we could not feel the patch. The art room now looks refreshed to be use as an office.

Lounge and kitchen were done to perfection as well. Good even paint on walls, Derek went to the extent of painting behind radiators and filled in the crack and holes in the walls so they no longer visible.

Decent price as compared to the similar contractors over the market. Price quoted is for finished rooms to expectation rather than hourly job. Hence, no surprise additional cost. Feel very value for money, hence we wrote such a detailed review.

Good pace of work and responsive to call and messages. After the property boom, a lot of contractors have very delayed schedule. Derek is kind to fit our projects in between his other big projects.

Very professional, helpful, good price, work is well done and with no mess.
We have also left a key with the guys so they can let them selves in and do the job and they did.
Very trustworthy and good people definitely would recommend to anyone. Very good service for a good price and main thing no mess and also they have moved the furniture around when needed.
We required to get a tv bracket done in the plasteboard as it was to weak so they have added support with stud work in the plasterboard to support the tv bracket. They then covered it up and fit the tv on the wall. Great funny people also nice to chat to and have a laugh with. Definitely 100% recommend when I looked at the reviews I was a little worried as there hasn't been many but honestly I'm happy I have chosen Mainstay Cambridge Ltd because they have been great and completed the work very quickly and just before Christmas.
