I contacted Maidstone Tree Surgeons to quote to remove a sycamore tree from the back garden. Connor turned up to review the job and sent a quote the same day. Communication with Maidstone Tree Surgeons is on point, you are constantly aware of what’s planned and what’s happening. Connor and his team turned up and completed the job on the scheduled day. Friendly and efficient team, handled quite a difficult job in removing a tree damaged in the storm.

Connor and his lads removed three small trees from my garden today. Also the stumps were ground down, and they left me with a lovely stacked woodpile 😁They were early, which was good for me, communications were excellent, and the job was carried out quickly and professionally. Nothing I can write here will do this justice but I'm going to try. At 9pm on a windy/rainy Sunday my 11 month old Maine Coon kitten got chased by a dog and somehow managed to get up a tree. Not just up a tree but 60ft up a tree and was trapped. He had been crying for hours (up there for over 12hrs) and the RSPCA, Police, Fire Service would do nothing. It was a sheer drop and no branches for him to climb down. In tears I found Maidstone Tree Surgeons on my phone, and with a Hail Mary called, hoping someone might answer (it was Sunday night so not hopeful). Connor answered and after listening to me was on his way. After struggling to locate the tree in the middle of the woods, Connor donned his kit and went up. And up. At the point he crossed 50ft Fitz (kitten) just climbed higher as he was scared. At 60ft Connor could climb no more and Fitz was still out of reach. Undeterred and refusing to give up, Connor waited, climbed out further (even risking his own life to save Fitz's) and finally managed to get him by the scruff of his neck. 5 minutes later a very grumpy and rumpled kitten was put into his carrier - and Connor was back on the ground safe. I still cannot believe how lucky I was to find Connor. Someone who on a Sunday night didn't just say 'call me tomorrow' but came out ready to help (in conditions that were terrible). He persevered and was calm and had a sense of humour which helped calm me. He was responsible about not damaging the tree and just all round amazing. I know it's not tree surgery - but given the care, the professionalism, the refusal to give up, the knowledge and expertise shown - I would (and am) recommending Maidstone Tree Surgeons to everyone I know both for tree surgery and cat retrieval. They were punctual, polite, attentive to our requirements, and did an excellent job with pruning and shaping, as well as cutting back our laurels, hawthorns and conifers. Connor periodically checked the progressive work with me to make sure I was happy with everything. They tidied up after themselves too. Very satisfied with their service. Connor & his team came to cut down a mature ash tree with die back disease in my back garden.
I found Connor very knowledgable & professional in his work & he kept me informed about what he was doing.
He was very polite and friendly as was the rest of his team.
He arrived on time & set about removing the tree, he estimated about a day to cut it down but I was a bit doubtful due to the size of it and also the location it was in, but true to his word he got it all down in a day.
They tidied up after them and I am very pleased with the work he did, especially after being let down on numerous occasions by other tree surgeons!
His quote for the job was very competitive, and I truly recommend him to anyone reading this.

We were really impressed with the team from Maidstone Tree Surgeons. Connor had a great no nonsense attitude that gave me great confidence the job would be done correctly. This is the 2nd time we have used Maidstone Tree Surgeons this year. The first was just a small stump grind and today was a much bigger job. Connor was responsive to the initial enquiry and booked us in quickly, the team turned up early (8am) and got cracking, they blasted through the job, took away all of the debris and cleaned up after themselves.
