To who it may concern
I have had the pleasure on working with Maypye Interiors on numerous highly prestigous projects within Cumbria and Lancashire.
The various schems, design choices and finishes have blown all our clinets away with an end product to die for.
All the clients have been seriously blown away from the paper choices, paint colours and new home laypouts etc.
I look forward to working with Katie and her team in the near future on other booked in projects

Katie has been amazing. She has a real talent for design and an excellent sense of colour. Katie was able to use lots of visuals to help me get a sense of the the finished result, before any work started, and this enabled lots of opportunities for discussions and project development. As someone who is extremely lacking in confidence around design, Katie has been brilliantly supportive in guiding me through all the work. She has liaised with builders, plumbers, and suppliers, to make sure that the project was completed in a stylish and timely way. We had an outstanding zoom video consultation with Katie, she was extremely helpful, collaborative and professional in her approach.
This was was unfamiliar territory for my wife and I, but Katie soon put us at ease, with her approach. The zoom consultation came after an initial meeting over facetime, where Katie advised us to use an Ipad for the zoom session. The zoom session, a few days later, was excellent, Katie took us through the process, at a pace that suited us and we were able to share screens, so we could then dip in and out using facetime to reference other information. We had a 2 hour consultation and in that time Katie was able to demonstrate ideas for our living room, its layout, reclaimed flooring, a tongue and groove panelled storage solution (full of character) for an awkward corner that would give the room a better shape by hiding odd angles of the wall, ceiling beams to add character to a room which had been finished too modern, lighting solutions including adding wall lighting, paint finishes and looked the lime wash paint she showed us which creates a rustic imperfect finish, to our barn. She showed us inspiration images of mixing older traditional interiors juxtaposition with contemporary pieces which was right on point for what we wanted but we didn’t know how it would look, or where to begin. She certainly allowed the conversation and ideas to flow between us, she was able to create quick sketches to demonstrate these ideas, bringing it all to life. My wife also was able to discuss different inspirational images she had seen on pinterest, and we were then sent a file over email containing all images that were referenced, a mini sketch of the cupboard solution and the layout we had discussed...amazing service!
Katie brought to life the ideas we had in our heads, and was able to easily extract that information, and put it into pictures and words that were easy to visualise, all in a calm and professional manner. We had our doubts that this would work over zoom, but that was quickly extinguished as it certainly did work brilliantly.
We cant believe how creative Katie is and we can't recommend her highly enough.

My wife and I would like to express our thanks to Magpye Interiors helping to transform our “snug” into a very comfortable and attractive relaxing room in which we now spend a considerable amount of free time.
Katie listened to our ideas and created a design which was clearly and comprehensively presented to us.
The project was expertly managed throughout and we were impressed by the professional approach. The choices offered to us were backed up by photographs and “ mood board” .
We are thrilled with the result which we would never have achieved without her creative guidance.
We are so delighted with the “new room” we are now using her on our second project.

I worked with Katie at Harrods where I saw her faultless skill with luxury brands and impeccable taste of colours and textures. Katie has always been on point with trends but puts her own flair on top to make her style distinctive and elegant. We worked on many projects together, one of the few most memorable were the homewares windows, where Harrods were showcasing all the new brands for the new homewares launch. Katie had a knack for picking an accent piece for a room set that pulled the look all together. Another was the Christmas Harrods express windows, where all the windows had to be full of luscious dressings. It was a big task but Katie's windows had a real wow factor with the luxury brands she chose. It was a pleasure working with Katie and I hope to do so again in the future. More...

Her ideas were beyond my expectations. She listened carefully to the ideas that I had and helped me made some bold choices (which i was scared of initially but now I truly love!
)

Since meeting Katie she instantly made us feel at ease and excited about the projects we had/have planned. Her passion for interiors, big and small, is brilliant. She has loads of ideas and really listens to what you want out of the room. She always asks for budgets to ensure she isn't wasting her time and yours and is in constant communication to ensure you're happy with the ideas she's proposing. I hired Magpye Creative to stage my mother’s house before putting it on the market. The house was very much in an older person’s style and I wanted it to have a more contemporary feel with a minimum spend.
Katie arrived, looked round all the rooms and made a start by rearranging furniture that was already there and taking things away to ‘declutter’. She made a list of items to buy and we went shopping together that same afternoon.
I can honestly say that within 24 hours the house felt transformed! I would definitely recommend anyone to hire Magpye Creative.

What a complete gem!!
I was totally clueless on what to do or where to start with my home and I really just needed an expert and creative genius to point me in the right direction.
I hired the wonderful Katie for a Consultation and she really opened my eyes with what could be achieved in a dark and fairly old-fashioned house. We focused on the Living/Dining room; the layout, minor structural changes and reinstating some period features I'd never of thought of doing. Then after chatting and looking through a variety of images she helped me focus what style direction I'd like to take, and inspiring me to mix and match to stop it dating. We also talked about colour palettes and lighting.
She followed up by sending me the images we discussed and a list of recommended 'to do's'
Katie is very personable and I would highly recommend her to anyone stuck in a home rut!!

We contacted Magpye Interiors to initially provide a design consultation for our holiday rental flat in the Yorkshire Dales.
We recently purchased it and it had been used for over 10 years as a holiday home so was looking a bit tired and dated. We wanted a modern feel that would reflect our style/likes as we also use the flat on weekends for our own personal use . However we needed a design that would also be practical and accessible (as rented our for holiday stays across the year when we are not using it) and be sympathetic to the local environment. After having an initial phone conversation, Katie visited our flat with us and spent time with us discussing our needs, likes & dislikes, budget and went round the flat taking photos and taking measurements. She was an excellent listener and took into consideration our views but also gently challenged us to consider other ideas in terms of colours, design, room layout etc. Within a month she had produced a design brief with room plans and mood boards for all the rooms.
We were absolutely blown away by the designs that Katie had produced - they fitted the brief exactly and got the balance perfectly right between meeting our practical needs and producing a stylish finish - with interest and sometimes a bit of fun too.
Katie is professional, approachable and very knowledgeable. We liked the designs so much we then went on to use her full design service. We would not hesitate to recommend Magpye Interiors.
