We asked Adam Templeton to entertain our guests at our Rebrand Event. We were looking for an entertainer that would delight our guests and keep them interested and occupied throughout our event. From the moment our guests arrived Adam, dressed in his very smart and funky attire helped welcome the guests and kept them entertained with his fabulous magic. How long have you been interested in magic?
I loved the reactions I got from adults as a young boy performing to family and friends. From here I began learning a large range of tricks well into my teens. I continued to learn and enjoy magic as a hobby into my twenties and in my mid twenties I became a professional. So it is fair to say I have been interested in magic for over forty years!
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
My philosophy of magic is that it is not about me, it is all about my audience. With this as the underlying principle, once I introduce myself and put those I’m entertaining at ease, I make sure that the magic happens right in front of them, often in their own hands. They become part of the routine which makes what happens seem even more impossible. I bring humour into my presentation yet create stories and moments which are remembered!
What do you love most about your job?
For me, it is all about the reactions of those I entertain. I never know how people are going to react, I just know they are going to react! The range is incredible, I’ve had a lady burst into tears, this was very worrying until she declared that what she had just seen was so beautiful! I’ve had people storm or even dance away in incredulation, I’ve had people go absolutely silent but what I almost always get is laughter.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The pleasure of helping people make their day even more special is the drive and with that comes the flexibility of being able to work around family commitments.

I have been performing magic for over forty years, I am a member of the Magic Circle, Equity and have a CRB check clearance which is up to date. ThisI believe, is evidence of my professional ability, integrity and intent to offer peace of mind and value. What I say I will do, I do and finally I will guarantee that all those who want to be entertained will be!
