You have been so kind and supportive from the very first meeting- putting two cameraphobes at ease, giving us advice and tips, and just being incredibly generous and helpful- more than anyone could possibly ask! We are professional photographers ourselves in the USA and we reached out for editing advice in a mutual group of professionals. Colin was gracious and offered his services to fix the photo and to remove the person in question from the photo for free so he could keep sharp with his detailed editing skills..... Colin recently photographed our wedding at Carnglaze Caverns and we were ecstatic with the photos we received. He has given us some fantastic memories of our special day to cherish forever. We were lucky enough to meet Colin at a wedding fair, and we immediately felt he was the photographer for us, he did not disappoint. I could not have chosen a better photographer than Colin Macleod Paul for our wedding pictures! He provided an outstanding service from start to finish, being flexible on availability, professional and personable on the day and super fast in delivering the photos. As it was a small wedding, we did not need him around for the whole day, so he also adapted his fees to suit our needs and budget. The quality of the photos is exceptional and his next best quality is how relaxed he makes you feel in front of the camera (if you are a bit camera-shy like me you will understand how important this is!). When we first started searching for photographers, we were amazed at Colin's prices. We met him a couple of times before the big day to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. He took everything on board and posing for photographs on our wedding day very easy and stress free. He even managed to get a second photographer for a tiny fee more! This was fantastic for us as it meant we could capture both myself and my husband getting ready without paying extortionate amounts. When it came to our wedding day everything went smoothly and Colin felt like one of our guests! Everything was sowell organised and he even stayed later into the evening without charging us anymore! We couldn't recommend Colin highly enough and would again like to thank him for getting the photographs done with 2 weeks of getting married! From the first time we met Colin we warmed to him and knew he would be the man for the job. We met Colin 18 months before our wedding (which was 2nd may 2015) We then met him again at the church that we were getting married in, exactly a year before our wedding, which was fantastic. We met him again a week or so before the wedding to go over and final details. We kept in touch in between these dates and by the time it was our big day we really felt like he was part of the family- and I really cannot exaggerate this enough. Colin goes above and beyond his duty and makes you feel so at ease about everything. He gets to know your wedding guests and most importantly always bares in mind what photos you want to achieve from your wedding day. He didn't have it easy on our day as it rained and frankly the weather was not good, and we planned all our photos to be outside, but we went with it anyway and I'm so glad we did as the photos are absolutely fantastic!!! I was quite a nervous bride before getting to the church but being with Colin helped to make that disappear. Our photographs of our wedding are absolutely beautiful and you can see how much work has gone in to each one. Colin's service is extremely professional, personal and simply perfect. The service we had from Macleod Paul Photography was simply perfect. Colin was so professional and put us at ease from the word go. He understood what we wanted and went above and beyond to make it happen. He organised our guests without being rude and they all said how great he was and how they had fun & hardly noticed him rather than standing around for hours when there was valuable celebrating to be done. He captured so many moments that happened and the final results were just brilliant. He got the pictures ready in record time and the quality was top notch, and getting my folks a copy without asking, was extra special. After looking at all the wedding fairs and talking to photographers it seemed they only offered set packages and just wanted our money. After weeks of searching i found colin through a recomendation through network cornwall! Having spent an intial conversation over the phone Colin asked to meet to discuss things he taliored made a package for us with no pressure on us to have him as our photographer. From day one Colin was reliable, professional and most important very friendly with a sense of humour! we felt very comfortable of photos been taken of us (my husband rarely smiled nor was keen for photos) Colin manged to get an impressive amount of photos of him smiling!! On the day he was very easy going got lots of pictures and was an impressive amount of photos from the day that we asked for as well as other amazing shots we would have never thought of. Colin returned the disc very quickly after honeymoon and gave us no pessure to get an album. After nearly 6 months!! we got hold of Colin and he helped us design an album which is also very impessive telling a story of our day together. A few months later Colin then took pictures of our baby these are amazing photos too its all very natural and was very relaxed atmosphere.
