Hi Neelesh, the company is well within it’s rights to withhold deposits on cancellations by customers as clearly stated on our T&C’s. Once carpet is cut to size we cannot unfortunately refund the deposit no matter how small or large the deposit is. As explained there was a tragic death, we could not fit on date agreed. We did give you an option of a refund or to reschedule. You agreed to reschedule a date with us, fitters were en-route when you decided to cancel and demand a refund. All times given are estimates and we cannot guarantee exact times 100% as per out T&C’s. If you would like to still go ahead please get in touch to schedule a date. From consultation and quote to fitting was under 2 weeks. Amazing service and we are so happy with the carpet (no more having to sneak up and down the stairs whilst kids are sleeping). Customer service is second to none and we're so glad we went with MRCS instead of another company that starts with T and rhymes with nappy. This company have just sent me rude messages all day . All I did was complain that there were some issues with the carpet in September. He promised to rectify this and would come . He didn’t make contact and the issues have worsened lately . I was patient and I have been polite but it seems this company are perfectly happy to take your business and more business from recommendations but poor customer service and poor after care . I am now left to sort the issues out myself as I just cannot deal with the rudeness . Last texts were in reference to another company that has ruined my home and I put my trust and let someone else in and at the time I trusted them and has caused me a great deal of stress . Low blow .
