About

I value health & fitness highly and can think of no better career than helping people to feel amazing by reaching their optimal condition. I am friendly but professional, and approachable but with a military flair brought to me by my 7 years service in the army.

I wouldn’t go to anyone else but Lydia for a sports massage; not only is Lydia knowledgeable about the anatomy, she also has some amazing gadgets & uses different techniques during therapy.

An ex power lifter, Lydia has coached me on my own techniques and got me hitting PBs even after injury. Can't get better than that!

I have been training with Lydia for a few months now and love the sessions we have together... be it small gym circuits sessions or more targeted weight training . Lydia is highly knowledgable and professional at what she does , She pushes you to the max of your ability but totally focuses on your form .. which for me being a woman is important as it gives me the confidence to train by myself in other gyms . The sessions are always varied and fun and motivational ... Lydia is great to work with , I would highly recommend her . More...

Lydia is an excellent personal trainer. I do a weekly, ladies, small group strength and conditioning class with her. The sessions are tough but fun, using either various pieces of gym equipment or focusing on just one eg land mines or kettlebells. She is great at introducing new techniques, with very precise instruction so you really feel the burn and prevent injury. Very motivating. More...

Q&As

It starts with a comprehensive consultation. It may seem lengthy, but the more information I have, the better I am able to produce a bespoke programme, optimised for maximum effectiveness for the individual.

The consultation will include a full health assessment to rule out or raise awareness of any conditions and also provide useful biometrics to establish our baseline from which to measure future progress.

The next session will always be a personalised battery of fitness assessments, relevant and specific to the client. This will include a functional movement screen (FMS), or a variation of. Assessments include functional movements, joint range of movements (ROM), cardiovascular, balance/proprioception and strength testing.

1. Doing what you love and loving what you do!
2. Making SMART goals.
3. Crafting new habits that become part of your 'normal' lifestyle.
4. Commitment and consistency!

Empowering people to be the best version of themselves possible!

The gym industry is a mess. It can be narcissistic, aggressive, body-shaming and outright intimidating. It's designed to harbour insecurity that keeps people believe they 'need' to keep going. I wanted to do things my way. To show people the beauty of simplicity and the joy that being being fit and healthy brings to ones life.

I embody a highly effective blend of expertise, training and experience with being the right kind of 'people person' to elicit the best from my clients.
