Professional
From the minute Louis picked up the phone, I knew this was a guy I could work with.
Really customer focussed, great communication and friendly. The same goes for the rest of the team - always smiling and enjoying their work. This matters especially when you spend weeks and weeks under the same roof! I chose to source our own windows but Louis was great at coordinating with the window installers, ensuring holes cut to correct size etc. Louis also liaised with the structural engineer and buildings control staff showing excellent professionalism.
Transparent
Louis was very up front with me at the point of contracting, that there would be a risk to the plan given that their proposal depended on the existing roof structure being in good condition. As they removed the ceiling and roof panels and the building control inspector assessed the existing structure, it was determined that the original plan was no longer possible. Louis very quickly scoped out and costed 4 options for me along with risks and benefits to help us make an informed decision.
Trustworthy
I went abroad with my family for the first 4 weeks of the project. Louis kept me informed with videos and photos of the work being done which was really reassuring. The scaffolder had positioned one pole touching the adjacent house which would have been a problem for my neighbour. Louis and the site manager knocked on her door, apologised and sawed off the protruding pole, leaving no damage. My neighbour appreciated the courtesy they showed. No noise complaints throughout the whole project.
Craftmanship
We love the finished product. Of all the loft extensions on our street, I think ours is the best. We are very proud and give our gratitude to Louis and the team.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
The headroom is the key.
If you have more than 2.4 meters from the to the top of the ceiling, there should be no problem.
If not, we can always drop the ceiling of the level below the loft to add head room.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Week 1
Scaffolding around the house, delivery of material, timbers and steels, building new level floor structure
Week 2
Building new dormer structure and internal walls
Week 3
Staircase installation, first fix electricity and plumbing
Week 4
Insulation of walls and floor, finishing the floor
Week 5
Plaster boarding and roofing
Week 6
Second fix electricity and plumbing, fitting windows and plastering
Week 7
Final touch, cleaning outside and inside
Week 8
Scaffold removal and decorations
This is for most of the lofts. Some take shorter time. Some take longer time. It all depends on the size of the loft.

We have seen many projects in loft conversions, but there was always something missing to make the projects more perfect.

We also provide a complete catalogue with pictures at the end of the project to the client. The catalogue shows we followed the building regulations and can be a proof for insurance companies or future buyers that the loft was built properly.
