Sandy was an incredible photographer! He was professional, helpful and reassuring. Throughout the day he quietly managed to get so many amazing shots - looking back through the photos, we keep saying ‘wow I didn’t even notice him there! ’. Many of our guests have commented on how organised Sandy was during the group shots which meant the Bride and Groom could relax and enjoy the day. Such brilliant service from start to finish. Originally I wasn't overly keen on even having a professional photographer but we saw Sandy's photographs and decided to go for it. He was discrete when necessary and called the shots when the time came. He helped us relax into the day and made sure that he caused no stress whatsoever, which meant that he got some really amazing photographs of us and everyone who attended the wedding. Myself and my new wife Jorja were married on 14/10.When planning our wedding, we were about to start the rounds of searching for a photographer to capture our day. We heard many stories whereby people had to look through almost 10 photographers before making a decision as it was such an important role to tender. We were pleasantly surprised that Sandy's Love in Focus page was the first one we came across, because as soon as we saw the portfolio of his previous work, we know he would capture our day the way we wanted to.When we met Sandy he was very professional and down to earth. We said yes there and then, we felt like we were getting a lot of character, talent and personality for our money. We had our pre wedding shoot in order to get used to being in front of the camera and Sandys instructions. The good thing about his approach is that he is very direct, and you need a photographer to be this way, because when you are tumbling through your big day at one million miles per hour, you don't need someone to be mitigating and beat around the bush as you are very time limited throughout the day, so I am sure that if Sandy was not direct then we would not have got anywhere near as many photographs taken. He even managed to calm my Bride when I accidentally ripped her dress! (Grooms, dont do that.) We haven't received our wedding photos back yet, so this is premature, however I will update my review once they are received. However, we did receive our pre wedding pics very promptly and the quality of them was spectacular. Sandy is clearly a very talented photographer and editor. The shots he can foresee are incredible and he had a really great eye for it. When we met Sandy, he asked for 3 words to describe what we wanted for our wedding. We got the day we wanted, and Sandy's photos show that much better than our words ever could. We couldn't be happier with them! From the start, Sandy has been really helpful; he always replied promptly to our emails and arranged to meet us to discuss what we wanted. We had a really nice chat and immediately felt like Sandy was the sort of person we could work with. We had an engagement shoot, which was actually good fun and and a really good way for Sandy to get to know us and us him. It helped us to get more comfortable with the camera, which is particularly helpful if you don't like having your photo taken! Sandy sent us the engagement photos really quickly, and we were delighted with them. He was great on the wedding day - he got on well with our guests, listened to what we wanted and had lots of ideas for the bridal shoot and he also made sure he could take plenty of reportage photos that really encapsulate the day. Sandy emailed us a sneaky peak of the photos and the we got a lovely surprise when they all came through in the post. We absolutely love all the photos and their quality speak for themselves. But we can also recommend Sandy as a really nice guy, who is easy to get on with and that was really important for us, given that you spend a lot of your wedding day with the photographer. We got married in June but met Sandy many months before to discuss our Wedding and the kind of photos we were looking for. Our initial meeting was great as we were able to discuss what we wanted to capture on the day but also being able to view Sandy's work. We were also able to have an engagement shoot which was a lovely way to capture some great shots but also put us at ease ready for the big day.On the day Itself Sandy was wonderful and he spent the whole day with us from start to finish in order to capture the whole experience. He put all our guests at ease and half the time they didn't even realise he was taking shots which captured some hilarious moments. Sandy is a super creative wedding photographer who really got what we wanted. As well as a natural reportage style, we wanted to have a play with lighting given we were getting married in December when there's not lots of daylight, and he truly delivered! Wow. We loved the look and style of Sandy's work online and having met him and seen further samples of his, booked him straight away for our wedding. We liked the way he took the time to find out what we wanted from our pictures and were confident that he would be able to deliver.Sandy's easy going nature put us and our guests in the right frame of mind for relaxed stress-free wedding photos on the big day. It was really important for me to have a great photographer to capture my special day. I wanted some one that wouldn't be intrusive but would be able to capture the personal moments as well as having the traditional group photos. I believe that i found that with Love-in-focus photography. After looking through some of Sandys previous work i was extremely impressed with the way he framed his photos and was able to capture the feel of the occasion. Also the way the the photos didn't just look like generic wedding photos but were really personal to each couple.
