What makes a great website?
A great website must meet the standards of W3 School codes with dynamics and unlimited resources. These include scalability, mobile-friendly(responsive) secure, readable ( images/videos when necessary), interactive, cultural, customisable, professional, up-to-date, ranking (SEO) and trackable. The design must be sleek and be linkable.
Again, a great website must help customers find business and services online, sell, buy products or services, take or make payments online with 100% peace of mind.
The design.
A website must look attractive and professional design. There should be no poor content, image oversize, in proper font and size. The web page should work at same screen resolution. Too much colour, images, embarrassing pop-up windows, text, and action buttons make the site a poor and unprofessional.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
1. What's the purpose of your project?
2. Who are your target market and audience?
3. Do you want to become your brand?
4. Do you have any competitors and their websites?
5. What features would you like?
Those are some of the few questions I would ask my clients before starting a project.
Describe your creative process.
My creative (basic) process for any clients are:
I will collect every Relevant Information to get the picture that would enable me to draw the sketches.
Bring the ideas together, draw out a few sketches electronically or manually.
Content definition. I like to get the contents ready and analyze it to avoid content duplication,
Wireframe. This comes after the content definitions. It simply means knowing where to structure the website features, where images or videos are necessary and the linkings.
Visual mockups. This follows after the wireframe, I ensure that the client sees how the website would look like on web browser, maybe make some adjustments to suit the website purpose.
In some cases, most clients do not have the full knowledge of how their project would look like. In this case, I prepare my clients to look out for any competitors they fancy.
We give them the free option to tell us how much they would like to pay for our services, their preferred method of payment and contract may not be necessary.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Client details (names, address/locations).
Their domain names if registered, hosted, if the project is new or exiting, the platform they want to build on, project commencement, type of business or services, project deadline and objectives.
What do you love most about your job?
The satisfaction of my clients.
My consistences and records of achievements, I am self-dependents and that makes all my project deliverable within the agreed periods of time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am born to inspire others, helping people with my creative solutions and ideas.
