As I'm new to the area I needed someone to walk my puppy once a week when I'm unable to and started looking into different dog walkers in the area. Ashley immediately put me at ease, came to the house to meet and assess Poppy and find out if there was anything she needed to be aware of and what our usual routine was. Ashley now walks Pop once a week and reports back on what she's been up to. Pop has an absolute blast, and despite being naughty Ashley always manages to get her back on the lead - not an easy feat! Ashley visits our pup twice a day, two to three times a week. She is amazing with him and he loves her visits. He is a Basset Hound so very stubborn and at first he really didn’t like walking. Ashley understood this and tailored his visits to lots of play time, very short walks and lots of cuddles. As he’s grown up a bit over the last few months and started to enjoy walking and being outside, Ashley is now able to take him all over and they are always at the beach or the park. These trips not only allow him to get out, stretch his little legs and have fun, but also to socialise with other dogs that he meets. Ashley texts me after every visit to let me know how he is and what adventures they have been on - which is so re-assuring and stops the working dog-mum guilt! Ashley is absolutely brilliant with our pup and she really understands him. He adores her too. She is very friendly, trustworthy, professional and easy to communicate with.
