Sorted a Long Standing Problem - we've had a problem for the last few years with a damp area inside the front wall on the 4th floor of our 5 storey Georgian town house. We've previously used 2 different firms to sort it out. This reduced the problem but some damp still occurred. I arranged for London Gutter Clean & Repair to come here. Louis(?) and Rhys quickly found the cause of the problem - compacted debris in the downpipe bend just below the hopper. They sorted it and adjusted the zinc flashing above the hopper to enable rodding of the downpipe from above, which will mean we don't need scaffolding in future to clear the downpipe. We're delighted with every aspect of their work and will ask them back to do the annual clearing of the gutters and downpipes. More...

I called these guys when I noticed the gutter pouring water down our house's wall during the heavy rains recently. I was concerned they wouldn't be able to reach as our house is quite tall, and that it would cost loads, I'd need scaffolding etc. These guys were really helpful, they came as agreed, manoeuvred their ladder through the house with great care, diagnosed the problem(s), and fixed them without fuss. Not only that, they noticed another, unrelated issue with our pipework and fixed that too. They then checked our roof and advised us of what works we should consider on there a little down the line. Would recommend London Gutter Clean - excellent service, sorted out all of our leaking guttering & hoppers. Checked whole block, front & back. Advice given was honest and appreciated. You can also see photos of the work done to see for yourself the quality, although from the massive amount of moss, pigeon twigs and general roof stuff falling to the floor, you soon understand how much stuff they are clearing. We needed to have some relatively minor repairs to our leaky gutter as our property recently went for sale. I found this company on Trustedtraders and they were highly rated but I must admit the two young men who turned up in good time went well beyond their call of duty to do a good job and make good of two really bad gutter jobs by previous tradesmen! They even unblocked the drain of one of my gutters out of their own good will so I cannot praise them enough! Admittedly my job was easy (clipping some guttering together) it was in the third floor and impossible for me. I had a quote within an hour, and the guys turned up on the dot!
