Hi there Nate You were refunded your deposit. But as explained afterwards when you had wrote this review, because there was no response for your calls at 6am, so you wrote this review. You were notified that calls were not manned at that time and driver was at your designated pick up point. But you wanted to cancel the booking. And you were still refunded your deposit. We had an incident with our porter, however explained our driver will easily clear your storage. However we hope all issues we’re rectified. Regards

I didn't have good service.

To put you in context I did the same move 3 years ago from Spain but including around 20 big boxes with all my belongings in a single trip. The lorry that was used at that time was exactly the same size as the one used on this. The work that was meant to be done only was moving dismounted furniture as I've moved myself all the boxes and I dismounted everything before. The whole move shouldn't have taken more than 4hrs.

The two guys were not professional. One of them was in charge of putting and organising the furniture in the lorry and the other one basically was moving things from the house to the lorry (although he seemed to be strolling with hands in the pockets instead of working, you should have seen him as it was quite frustrating to pay a guy for that). They had to make 2 trips with the lorry half empty because the organization was horrible (luckily was only 2 miles). In addition to that, the guy who was moving furniture to the lorry made so many trips with things as with empty hands just because he forgot something in the lorry or simply accompanied his partner with empty hands to place a piece of furniture inside the truck instead of taking advantage and carrying something else to carry.

I had to help the guys to carry things to the lorry and I worked much harder than them as I did double of trips than them with heavy things just because I wanted to finish the same day. If I would have known the service provided was like this, I would have rented a van to make the work myself as at the end this was practically the result.

Finally, they also broke one of the legs of one of the cupboards, luckily I will be able to fix it but they didn't take care of it, as well at the end of the move they forgot to add the 2 glass doors remaining for one of the cupboard (I was reminding them that several times during the move) and finally I had to tell them that they had to be in. The guys said that they had to do another journey only with that (of course because they didn't organise the lorry well) and if they broke that was under my responsibility... So unacceptable. Quick response but they tried to charge an inflated price for job. Upon negotiation they agreed a price then on delivery of item tried to charge more than agreed price!!
