I attend the Saturday bootcamp which Louise runs outside. Being outside in the fresh (and sometimes rainy/ frosty/ sunny elements) is wonderful for the soul. Her classes are varied, she always has good music on and is always looking at technique. I also love mixing with the others who are all interesting and friendly. I’ve always been someone who thought they didn’t ‘do’ exercise and hated it. Louise has made me realise I actually can do exercise, I bloody love it and surprisingly I’m pretty good at it (and improving weekly with Louise’s help)! My strength has improved massively and I love the feeling of getting a new PB. PT sessions fly by and I’ve even signed up to bootcamps every week! How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We work to look at all aspects of your life paying particular attention to those often overlooked by traditional diets or training approaches. We look at your fitness goals and address what is preventing you from currently achieving them.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Balance. Yes its an overused phrase but I mean this in a more authentic sense. Balancing expectations and what we are willing to do to get there. We have realistic conversations with clients about what their dream body is and will work on a truely personal level to achieve this. I am not led by fads or industry trends but by my clients aspirations.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing peoples confidence grow as they build strength from the inside out is incredibly rewarding. I love to laugh with my clients and its so important to me that they enjoy our sessions together. Working with a PT is so personal that I want women to have a great experience!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I don’t just talk the talk: in the past, my weight fluctuated after pregnancy, I worked long hours, made poor food choices and punished myself on the cross-trainer. I was confused by the ‘noise’ of the fitness industry, and tempted to reach for the quick fixes that ultimately make us feel like failures once the pounds pile back on.
But I was fortunate enough to meet and work with some fantastic fitness professionals, who reminded me of the true meaning of health, wellness and happiness. I was encouraged and empowered to refocus on the importance of long-term health while having fun – yes, fun – and making small but lasting changes. As my body responded positively, a new confidence grew within me that I felt compelled to share.
I was inspired to found the Live Once Fitness Studio as an antidote to the fitness fads of excluding major food groups or unrealistic “transformations”. It’s a private, safe space where you can unlock your love of feeling fit and discover a rewarding way to train. My devotion to ongoing professional development enables me to add variety and athletic progression to my clients’ personalised programmes.

Clients should choose me because they think we will be a good fit. Personal Training is exactly that.. so personal. I offer free consultations and thats a great time to get a feel for a trainer and whether or not you're vibing! Try a few out and choose me becuase you want to enjoy laughter and get real, lasting sustainable results.
