What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Planning, research and communication.. Taking a great photograph is more than just clicking a button or doing an amazing editing job. It all starts with planning and preparation. Knowing my subjects and understand the brief, discussing ideas with my clients, along with getting to know my camera will without a doubt help me to deliver a great photograph that clients will be happy with.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Depends on the project and on the client.
Questions will be those that will help me to understand what they wan and what they expect so that I can provide them with a happy delivery.
What do you love most about your job?
The opportunity to capture people's everyday moments and life events that enable me to tell their stories and document their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
One of my greatest inspiration in photography is the photographer and photojournalist Sebastião Salgado. I particularly enjoy his stunning black and white images from the books "Migrations" (where he depicts displaced people from around the world, who have fled their homelands due to political or socioeconomic reasons) and "The Children" ( a collection of portraits focusing on young displaced people living in underprivileged conditions).

I do love what I do and I do it with love. I have a relaxed and friendly approach and I feel honoured to work on a project or photo session that I know is very important and personal to my clients. I work with my clients to deliver what they want with a creative twist. I engage with my them to understand what they want, I listen to what they say and make sure I provide them with a service that delivers what they asked for.
