“I can do that, it’ll be nice to help them!” That’s roughly how we approached our first son moving when he went to university, and the same when he moved back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth between years … And as if we hadn’t learnt from the first one, we started doing the same for our other son, when he went off … That was until we realised that it’s not “nice to help them” when it comes to moving, it’s a slog, a hassle and a back breaking pain to move your offspring across the country multiple times annually.
